With the request by Elon Musk for dogecoin whales to sell their large holdings off, so that he can be one to completely get behind and support this currency as the currency of the people, Musk has provided a great incentive for them as well. It seems that the recent tweet by Elon Musk shows that he is offering these people actual money for them to sell off their large holdings of dogecoin, in an effort to try and distribute the wealth in dogecoin. This reward will be if they had to cancel their accounts and sell off their coins for this redistribution. What are your thoughts on this? Do you think that this is a good idea? And will this sell off, if it had to happen, cause a major price drop that could take a long time to recover from?

I don't really like this idea of him, he should mainly allow the price increase further instead of giving people inscentive to sell off the coin, and he would be tired of paying because more whales comes every time

I don't know what's gonna be the effect of him doing this.. im sure there's a good benefits for him if he's serious.. i wonder what

Musk has his own business strategy, although I do not like this idea, but only an experienced and alerted person like musk knows the correct answer of "why". He might have some plan over this.

never saw this news, as as far as I know musk has been just memeing to dogecoin and other people are just jumping in to the meme hence making the price go up

I guess Elon musk is considering the complexities accompanied with starting a new crypto currency so buying an existing one would be a better option.
Elon isn't starting a new cryptocurrency not sure where you are getting that news, and creating a new cryptocurrency is quite easy nowadays, you already see that apparent for the amount of garbage coins being created

I think there might be a reason for him to want to do this , but it's still up to them if they would like to sell it not and who knows how huge dogecoin might be in the future

Yeah this is true but maybe he have seen the kind of potential the coin have ,and this gave him more confidence to invest in the coin i think

There might be but most of the time , Though I think Elon musk is usually just memeing with the people and the coin but people are taking it positively due to his influence

I don't think that any of these whales will listen to such an offer. If he wants to join a coin he should just buy ,and if the whales continue to sell , he should continue to buy for he believes in the project

to me that idea was not worth it at all , because many whales that are holding it have a reason and they will think he is trying to create some form of monopoly

Ofcourse , he will buy the coins as the whales dumps it thus it is not a wise something for them to need to his advise and dump their dogecoin.
