After getting research, here are some of the PROS and CONS of this new ICO, before it hits the market.

PROS:
-Strong marketing team. It has been viral on social media, and it may be due to referral bonuses when purchasing ETN.
-Will venture to mobile phones, gaming and gambling industries
-Vision is to make cryptocurrencies mainstream, and making the dashboard/navigation user friendly
- Will have its own blockchain, offline wallet etc
- The team/company has an experienced dev team according to the website
-Could be projected to be of high return rate due to marketing

CONS:
-High supply of Coins. Currently, the supply is 21Billion coins but the decimal points for the coin is only 2.
-Unproven. The current market value(selling at 100coins per 1dollar) may be higher than its real value.
-Confusion on mobile mining. If you read the whitepaper, they are quite disingenuous in saying that you can mine with your mobile phones, when in reality, it is just a simulation of mining.
-Medium to high risk investment

@myckan I did invest a little just to try an ICO. However, I'm still skeptical if the new coin would be able to survive long if its in the market. Looking at the history of Bitcoin, its value did not raise overnight. It started in 2014 with mediocre acceptance, before, its rate went upward. In short, any virtual currency has to undergo a similar process over a period of time to test its viability and acceptance. Its future does not depend on technology and business alone, but rather, to its contribution or impact to the entire geopolitical landscape. These would determine every virtual coin's direction and existence.

Yes. And it would also experience a dump too ( people selling or cashing out their coins to breakeven or minimum gain). Thats why I said the coin is still unproven. The good thing about the company is its transparency unlike other ICOs. Lets keep our fingers crossed. Lol

The sale for initial coin offering has closed for Electroneum. The CEO said it has already reached the maximum coin to sell as well as the 40 million dollar hardcap. It looks like its pretty much gaining momentum :)

I am so excited of the launching of Electroneum this coming November 1. I managed to bought some ETN because the token sale closed earlier than expected. Do you know guys of what is the value of 1 ETN after the launching?

We can only speculate. Probably 0.01-0.019 is a safe estimate, and may also go down. Original price per coin is 0.01 dollar and some people have extra coins cause of referrals.
