One of the major news articles that has passed many internet screens this week is the acceptance of cryptocurrency in El Salvador, and this was passed by means of a legislation to show that bitcoin and other crypto can be regulated but used legally within the country. In a recent article, the president of this country has announced that they are in the process of designing a bitcoin mining facility that will be completely clean and likely based on renewable energy alone. What are your thoughts on this?

Good this a sign that they might soon legalise bitcoin in the country and for the mining aspect they should start faster and make more revenue

It is said that they are going to use energy from volcano sites to do the mining and this means they are sure prepared to change the narrative of Bitcoin mining consuming high amount of energy.
This is actually a very good way that they are looking to mine cryptocurrency because this makes use of geothermal energy which in essence is considered to be a renewable source of energy and hence are also a green source of energy.

I hope that the excess energy from volcano will be environmental friendly as bitcoin mining is geared towards renewable energy sources.

Obviously is going to be environmentally friendly as most of the mining sites will not be located in places where there are residential houses.

If the energy sources are renewable there will be less or no release of toxic gases to the air so it becomes automatically environmental friendly and rewarding to mine.

Great.. they are going to be self sustain which is awesome if they managed to stock up and circulate lots of coins right now when the time.comes that Cryptocurrency booms.. they win

El Salvador are really preparing for bitcoin adoption and this will surely go a long way in improving their economy and in making things convinent for the citizens
