El Salvador recently made history by legalizing cryptocurrency which was a major decision for them and was one of the major talked about points in the cryptocurrency world. In a recent search however, it seems that the google searches for this country have reached an all time high this year. Could this help prompt other countries to look into cryptocurrency acceptance?

Definitely ,,because am sure that with this development it might start attracting foreign crypto firms and boost the revenue ,the government really took better part in the acceptance of crypto

Yes, foreign exchange platfroms may be looking to set up in their country, knowing that there is likely to be a large volume going through this country in trades. Hopefully this can be the stepping stone to a major test in accepting crypto and giving the other countries confidence in these currencies as well.

Yeah other countries who are still having doubt in crypto currency would probably start trying the use of it ,when they see the advantage attached to the use of it ,even countried banning it would reconsider the ban

For sure countries will be watching how El-Salvador will manage the cryptocurrency activities Which they will use as prototype to launch cryptocurrencies in their respective countries.

I am rather surprised that first world countries are not legalizing it yet as they have the necessary infrastructure that is needed for implementation of such currencies.

Certain decision are politically motivated so it is possible that until there is change of government some countries may not legalize cryptocurrencies.

This can be the case and it is possible that the governments are concerned about the impact to their regulated fiat currency. Perhaps future developments in the crypto world will help change the perspective of some of these countries.

Definitely, if countries that has adopted cryptocurrencies are doing great other countries won't have choice but to rush before the train pass them by.
