Things was going great with a new gaming channel of mine until YouTube lost important advertisers and from $0.50+ per day I now I earn 1 or 2 cents DAILY

I sometimes hate YouTube because it blocked my youtube channel for monetizing for invalid account activity but when I read the reasons of invalid account activity , I didn't do any of these.
And only reason I think is that someone has clicked the advertisement for many times.
It was not my fault.
 
I have a YouTube channel too, and I was making enough to pay my monthly bills but now with the ad boycott I will have to ask for donations.

Unless your channel is BIG I can't see many donations coming, unless you have very supportive fan base. Good luck!
 
Damn, I'm sorry for your revenue loss. I'm not really a fan of YouTube (from a content creator's perspective) anymore. They suffered major losses in profit from advertisers pulling out, and in return, marginalized it's very content creators that make the website what it is.'

I feel the golden years to earn a profit on YouTube, were between 2010-2014. When YouTube's new CEO (Susan Wojcicki) came in around February of 2014, things began changing slowly, as well as certain RPM networks becoming unfavorable.

You're very right, and these days there is very little incentive to keep putting out quality content. Since it takes so much time and effort to record and edit videos.
 
I didn't know we can earn much from youtube channel. Hope you'll gain back more important advertisers and earn more.

I am so sorry about this. I have a channel too but it is ineligible for monetization. In fact the monetization option is not available in my country. I hope that it will be soon. Some of videos have garnered a number of views.
 
From what I have seen gaming channels are very competitive. Even 1$ per day can be hard but yeah if you are reaching that amount it's a good start. And I am sure you can earn like 10 per day or so. It depends on your video getting viral. I am hoping this year I can break even with the youtube earning earning 2$ or more.

I did not even know the ABCD of how to make money money on YOUTUBE LOL. Hope you can teach me some day lol

It shows you have gained something, but still gotta its a free cash to you, May I ask you about making video on games. I had made videos using images in travel niche, but that didn't worked well.

As we most of all have subscribed you, Yesterday I checked your video of Mylot and how to earn 1 dollar a day there. It was pretty good. Keep it up brother.

That's a good news. Hope it helps all and they can earn good revenue. Actually YouTube is the most happening thing and I guess all people like to visit there sometime and browse videos so its a great platform and a good place to earn some revenue.
 
I am not much aware of the youtube ad boycott. I am guessing that must be the reason I got less payout. Also considering the december and january is something bad. I have found that it can be really hard to get back the lost earning. With the adblocker already reducing the earning. I don't know how much youtube earning is going to last. I guess people have to try other options instead of relying on youtube payouts.

I have a youtube pagebut right now I can't do nothing on it because my computer is not working and right now I am doing everything on my kindle which has a very small screen. Once it is up and running or I have a new laptop I will be finding out how to earn money with my youtube page.

That's good to hear. I wasn't aware that there was a boycott but I was getting worried about the drop in my revenue anyway. I don't get a lot of views per day but every bit helps.
