DotWriter Reviews.jpg

DotWriter is a content marketplace that a freelance writer or content creator can join to sell the content to other website owners or blog owners online. The site has a massive variety of categories you can select from to create your content and sell it online. It is really basic and like all content marketplaces, you will create your content and submit it to the site. The article will be approved and put in the marketplace for sale or it will be rejected and sent back to you. All articles must be approved in order to be sold on this site. Like all content marketplace, there are certain niches that sell more articles than other niches. Therefore, if you want to earn money selling articles it is a good idea to do some research and determine if what you want to write about is in high demand or not.

Furthermore, you can earn money in their content special order section on the site. Here people who can't find an article that they need will create a special order job. You can apply for this job, Just to let you know most of the special order jobs are for premium or gold members who have proven themselves on the site and have posted more than 10 articles to sell in the marketplace.

How Does this Work?
  • Like any site you want to work on, you must first join this site.
  • Once you've joined you can start to submit your articles to the site.
  • The articles that you write will need to be approved before they are placed in the marketplace for sale.
  • Each article needs to pass through the Writer's Pool where they will read your article and accept the article to be placed in the marketplace or they will reject the article and send it back to you.
  • When you first join the site, you'll be considered a standard writer until you can prove yourself on the site. In order to be moved up a level, you must first have 10 approved articles for sale in the marketplace. You'll also need a better approval rate that is over 50% approval and not under the 50% mark.
  • If you are moved up to the second level, which is the Premium level this means that you've successfully passed or have10 to 25 articles on the site for sale and that your approval rate is over 50%.
  • In order to move up to the Gold level, you'll need to have 25 or more approved articles in the marketplace for sale and also have an approval rate of 75% or higher.
  • Each level on the site will determine how much your article is sold for. The site bases the sale price on your level and how many words are in your article that is placed in the marketplace for sale.
How Much Can You Earn?
  • Standard writers receive 0.03 per each written word in their article.
  • Premium writers are paid $0.05 for each word written in their article.
  • A Gold writer earns $0.07 for each word that is written in their article.
  • You can also earn extra money writing for people in the special order section on the site. This can earn you an extra income if your articles don't sell quickly.
How Are You Paid?
  • You'll need $10 in your account before you can request your payment from the site.
  • The site sends your payment through PayPal only.
Has anyone ever tried to sell their content on this site? Has anyone ever written for this site and earned money?

Will ready like to try these sites out,I had a bad review about some article writing sites where one keep on writing for free because most of the articles will be rejected but the recipient will go ahead to use it later without paying.Maybe I should check out the credibility of crowd content

I have to agree with you on this one. They have a job board and you can pick and choose the article you want to write. Some articles get a really good review and some are just horrid. The ones with a bad review really hurt your reputation on the site and take you way down in ranking. This makes you not want to try again afraid that another person will do the same to you.

Anyone tried selling or buying articles from dotWriter? (I see they are in beta testing)
I also see advertising themselves as "World's largest CONTENT WRITING MARKETPLACE". Really!?! :D
Even i didn't know that dotwriter is the --World's largest CONTENT WRITING MARKETPLACE, would like to try in near future.

This is funny because if you read the first part of this it says the site is still Beta. So how can a beta site be the world's largest by any means at all. Seems a bit strange to me to read this. Anyone can say they are the best or they have the most. But proving it is another thing all together.

Interesting list you have got here. Funny enough I only know of iwriter and crowdcontent. Your post is not a recent post but something in 2016. Hopefully, they are still operating like you stated here. Apart from iwriter, I think the rest are paying good, only if one can get their contents sold.

Basically like I have said over and over again you need to do your own research before trusting anyone's word on things. You need to look deep into the site, read tons of reviews, and please don't pay attention to fake payment proof from people. The truth is in a few sites who actually do honest reviews and talk to real people. You can basically figure out a site by the way it looks and how people talk about them online. If you hear way too many positive feedback you need to dig deeper. Because there is always the hidden truth buried deep inside.

This is the first time I am hearing about this site. Have you been able to buy or sell your articles on there? What is the maximum price that I can set for an article? How will they pay me?

I have seen many content Article writing sites such as iwriter etc some pay and some are scam ,i dont like it as Article writing sites reject most articles etc ,i will try this new one ,thanx !.

Heard it for the first time. But when I browsed some reviews it is legit. It was first offered to "freelance writer in Kenya and beyond" and a 750 word article then can gain $7.50 but a writer needs to pay dotwriter a 20% for each sale...not bad anyway.

Many sites take a commission on the sales of articles. If they didn't they couldn't afford to keep the site up and running. i don't really think that is bad and it is a good opportunity to get noticed.

Sure it is. I am planning to apply this site too but still need to get my CV ready the next time. It should be updated and impressive too, i hope so though. Looking forward to have it ready on my spare time. For now, i am enjoying here in beermoneyforum, posting my comments and learning from other members too.
