for example, you own a company and you have to register everyone in the insurace, do you actually register yourself too or you are included in the company's insurance?

I think you are part of the company, you may only be required to State your role in the company. So you are under the company still
i mean, if you are registering in an insurance agency, you'll register yourself under the company's name or as it's owner just like every other employee?

I believe this depends solely on the type of insurance policy one is carrying out. Like registeriñg employees is about the employees but for self it can be on behalf of the company like in fire outbreak

I think you will register under the name of your company and not as the owner , but it all depends ont document you were asked to fill such information

As per my understanding and the knowledge I have about insurance, the owner of the company represent himself as a company and not as an individual.

The reason is that the owner is part of the company. It is not a personal affair but pure business.

Well, it depends on the kind of agreement hes running and what kind of business he is running, but I think most people will register it under the organisation's name. That's the smart thing to do.

If one wants to insure his company then he will be representing the company and not himself . The insurance pays for damages in the company and not on the owner of the company .

In a group insurance the employees are listed individually and the list can include the owner. The advantage of group insurance is the bulk premium which is much cheaper than an individual insurance.

But once it's a business they are insuring against I think it's the owner that might be liable for the risk , and for a group or companies it should be the company share holders

Different insurance companies have the different ways in which they like to operate but I think the owner of the company should register the company. If you should register himself then he might not be able to claim some benefits when something happens to the company because that is the most important thing to him.

Even if you are the owner, you will still need to register yourself as part of the company. You can then indicate that you are the owner, but you have to be on there alongside the names of your employees. It is insurance after all, not any kind petty registrations.

A company insurance which could be a group insurance has to do with all that the company entails. Even the employees are included. I think when insurance is sought to be employed what the owner needs to be covered should be explicitly laid bare so that the insurance company know the extent the owner of the business wants to go with the insurance. So that's it and the owner and the employees will be insured as well

Well I believe this might depend on the kind of insurance policy you are going for as your personal choice. You can decide to own a insurance as an independent person or an individual but I think In such a case it would be wise to register as a company. I don't know much about these things but I believe if you register as a company, it would give you more options and features that would cover everyone in the company.

compsny insurance depends on the coverage that you want. there are ones that takes care of the damages that happens to the building and the content of the building. there's another that covers the employer, employees and even the customers and any occurrence must be within. the business premises. So one need to choose the one that they prefer.

That's nice, thanks for the explanation. In terms of companies now, is there a particular one that covers all these things you made mention of, cause I think they are all important for a company to have insurance on all these aspect. Or is it possible for the company to have more than one insurance?

It depends on the kind of insurance policy that is obtainable in the particular setting. Most companies that I have come across, the owner of the company actually registers himself as the Manager or Director-general under the insurance company. To a large extent, it even depends on the insurance company and their mode of conduct.

The insurance policy usually makes it clear that if you are insuring a person then it is an entity but if your insurance company and it is the whole organisation. As a business owner it is more advisable to go for packages that are going to consider the law says that the company is going to make instead of thinking of only you.

The organization that is being registered for an insurance policy involves the owner as a vital part of the organization, which makes him liable for coverage. The insurance is for an entity and every cog in that organization is covered by the insurance plan.

In general, the owner of a company would represent themselves as a person when it comes to insurance. However, it is important to note that this can vary depending on the type of company and the type of insurance being purchased.

i believe it is important to clarify that the representation of a company owner in insurance matters may depend on several factors such as legal requirements, the nature of the business, and the type of policy being obtained
