When Chinese government ban crypto mining and all related activities, bitcoin slumped overnight. Not only bitcoin suffer the effect, other coins also suffer serious loss of value. Crypto enthusiasts and investors lose billions of dollars due that effect. Now, cryptocurrency has survived the effect and a lot of people have regain their trust on crypto. Not only individuals and organizations but countries. A lot of countries are giving assurances that they will not ban cryptocurrency but will regulate. That is a good sign that cryptocurrency is the currency of the future.
As it stands, it seems China have shot herself on the foot. There is possibility that the government is regretting their action and may be planning to reverse the ban. Now, my question is do you see the possibility of Chinese government reversing the ban? What is your take on this?

At the moment my own guess is that they wouldn't reverse the ban anytime soon.. there's no benefit for them just yet and their digital currency is there and they don't want any competition when it comes to usage.. when though they have the most miners before the ban which they must be getting revenue from taxes they still easily ban it.. can't see why they would allow it suddenly.. maybe if the leaders were to change into someone that likes crypto currency there's a possibility

China digital currency can't compete with bitcoin. Bitcoin is too far ahead . Therefore I don't think that is the reason for the ban. I don't see any reasonable reasoning that makes China to ban bitcoin. I am still amazed that they can waste such a wonderful opportunity.

No one can really say what will happen in the near future but as things are going right now with them, I don't really think that they're planning to consider that very option anytime soon.
But like the Ukraine, they didn't like it accept the idea of cryptocurrency before this latest war that just happened did, but right now they have accepted it and have legalized it. So no one knows what will happen tomorrow.

I don't understand why the government always try to play with the crypto world. And don't why they ban crypto every now and then. I think most of the country's banks are afraid and jealous about crypto. In my opinion, China may reverse thr ban over crypto soon. Every country should find some other way rather than banning crypto!

Based on my observation it seems they are not ready for that ,if they are ready they would have done some adjustments , China might actually not be ready to reveal the bans and solve many underlying issues the platform is obviously facing , because cryptocurrency would boost in future ,if things are put in place

It would take a lot for a country like China to reverse it's cryptocurrency ban. Cryptocurrency removes power from the government and China is one of the most authoritarian governments in recent history.

If other powerful countries were to adopt it fully and benefit massively, putting them ahead of China because of this, they may reconsider their choice.

The Chinese government has been ambiguous when it comes to its stance on cryptocurrencies. Initially, the government banned Initial Coin Offerings (ICOs) and trading in cryptocurrency, but later allowed some exchanges to resume services. It is still unclear what the official policy is on cryptocurrencies. There have been recent reports that the Chinese government is considering reversing the ban on some cryptocurrencies regulating them, but it is still too early to tell whether this will actually happen.

Now that the cryptocurrency market went so down lately, I don't think anyone who had stopped using them would want to enter back into the market right now.

China may in future change their ban policy, but don't expect it to be soon. They will prefer their digital currency more for now.

Misunderstanding China's government process and policy goals have led to rumors that the country may lift its ban on Bitcoin mining. Crypto Twitter celebrities and media outlets have started spreading reports that China is starting to regret its crackdown on cryptocurrencies after Bitcoin hit fresh all-time highs in the past week. It's common knowledge that miners fled when China banned Bitcoin mining, taking over half of the world's Bitcoin hash rate with them.

Crypto has moved on with or without China. This is just Chinese loss and not really the loss on crypto. China, which is the first to publicly ban crypto, has tried to launch her CBDC but didn't work and has now been trying to reconsider regulating her laws on crypto ban. In order to keep pace with the super country, China may change its laws.

China has provided themselves with alternative which is their digital asset so to change their banned policy upon crypto currency then market would have been moved by other countries into an attractive values such as if other countries could take step of accepting crypto currency and other lovers and the price of Bitcoin rise they will change the policy and go for other countries wishes.

It's is a possibility, but I don't see it happens anytime soon. China is a big country that don't like to go back on their decision even when they're suffering from. It's true that the digital coins that China to replace crypto did not perform well. Sometimes they may be thinking of reversing the ban but it's not going to something that can happen fast.

Definitely, China won't change their decision of banning crypto anytime soon because they have already created two digital currency that has centralized authority. One should just leave China alone concerning crypto matters because they have already moved on. Other countries can make move in crypto community.

No , With 7.3% growth in the GDP each year one of the highest in the world , lowest inflation of 0.2% and the projection to reach reserves value more than the Us , they never need to depend on crypto that is why they banned it , for those who blindly invested study about ei Salvador and China is correct here in all points .

You have said it all. China has just launched another CBDC after Yuan. Meaning, China has moved on and let go of crypto. Though sometimes too, China still legislated on the activities of crypto. The best thing is that people should leave China out of crypto since the country is not the major player in crypto.
