There have been cases in teh past where cards have been declined after the fact and a business faces a problem in then securing the funds from the customer. For a larger business this is manageable as they have the resources to go after the customer and secure the funds or to write off the amount if it is small, however this can be more risky for small businesses as they need the money to progress the business idea and they also do not have resources to follow after a customer. Do you think that it is safer for new businesses to focus solely on cash payments?

Yeah cash is more better because most times those hackers could use a fake credit card and others to buy and the owner would be in debt , i prefer physical cash

I believe that the two can be used together, many people operate cashless policies and don't go about with Cash, if your business can Meet such people's needs then it tends to grow up faster.

I think that small business startups had better accept cash only as a payment methods. It is true that they don't have the resources needed in recovering the money if the buyers card does not work. Moreover, most customers who shop in small businesses only buy a few staff, so cash is more convenient.

No way. We must have as many options available with us for our business. We can have cash as well as card payment or any other payment system also if available. Customers like flexibility and this will help to boost your business too.

It depends on the entrepreneur, it is his/her business. The entrepreneur knows what they wants. But customers should be given a variable options on how to pay for services rendered and it makes the business grows faster, but location matters as well.
So the entrepreneur should put everything in place when setting up the business plan

Obviously an entrepreneur knows. But what is asked here is your suggestion. I suggest that a business will prosper only when it will have all kind of options, as different people uses different mode of transactions.

I think a established bussiness should accept both cash and cards. Because different people may use different payment methods. Supppse someone paying you in cash and someone doesn't have cash with him so then he will obviously want to pay you with card but if you don't have card as a payment option, the customer will dissatisfied and this is why your bussiness may die

Customers will find it very convenient when they will get put option. Not everyone carry credit card, everyone carry cash. Having both the option will surely help the customers.

I think the best thing for a either new or old business is to make payment method be a optional, in which to make it easier and convenient for customers.

Even if it is small, every business should make the provision of card payment. Not everyone walks around with cash, so to maximize sales you need to be flexible by accepting both means of payment.

New businesses should accept cash at start and can as well take card payments if they can so that they won't be loosing customers who don't carry cash all the time. But if the resource is not there, they can stick to cash payment.

If they pay with card it is still cash because they can still withdraw the cash. Moreover for safety purposes , cashless payment is good

In the beginning, it's okay to accept only cash but day by day you should add cards in the payment procedure. Nowadays, it's very normal to use cards and for cashback offers many peoples are like to have a card for shopping or other needs.

It is not easy to deny people the option of using cards to pay in your business as a lot of them would reconsider and go to patronize otherwise who allow them to do so. Not everyone likes to go about with cash at hand.

No.. if you can have multiple payment modes why not? It's probably more convenient having it so costumers who uses cards can be your costumers aswell

For small businesses selling low priced products usually have no credit card facility. But for big stores the credit card is a standard option of payment.

This is very true. There are many societies that run on a cashless system and for these people they do not have any systems apart from card which is deemed to be safer as well.

For a new business to decides whether to accept cash or cards for the payments of goods bought from his store depends on the type of business, the size, of the business and how technology inclined is the owner of the business.
