I always make a list before i do shopping. I find it more convenient in the sense that it saves me time. Aside from that, i can make myself sure that there will be no important items to be missed doing so.

How about you guys? Do you make a list before you shop?

i don't shop but the ones that do the grocery at home does bring a list, btw they're old fashioned so it's on pen and paper...

Okay, that's nice to know that even if you're are not the one to do shopping personally the one incharge still have a list of items to purchase. That's always be a great idea to be able to save money and time. Thank you :)

Not always, but yes it is very helpful preparing list before stepping out for the shopping. Its a good technique of saving time and sometimes money also.

I don't do it on most of my shopping. Usually I shop spontaneously and bought anything that I think I would need it. But I agree that listing before shopping is a good habit to reduce buying unnecessary things.

When i do a grocery shop, i dont have a list with paper but i know what im about to buy, just roughly, cause i do it once every month.
Clothes shopping i just have a figure in mt mind like how many new clothes im gonna need in this season, etc etc.

With books shopping tho, thats when i forget about all the rule and budgets, just go crazy for it.

Yes always, for one I have a mind like a sieve So I would forget all kinds of things, so its definitely helpful to make one, and I always start shopping in the back of the store making my way forward to the checkout lanes, so when I make my list I keep that in mind and write the foods out starting from back to front lol

I always say to myself that i will make a list before shopping but i always forget. You should always make a list. In this way, you buy things that you need. You don't buy unnecessay things which makes the budget too much. The main things you require is the grocery items.

I have a bad memory so I think it would be a good idea at least for me to make a list of things I am going to need to shop for. Grocery store is always a pretty taunting task as their is a lot of things to get. I always make sure I have bread and milk in the house first as they are very important to have and then go from there.

Yes, i always make a list when i go shopping. I normaly forget one or two things every time. There is nothing worse than going home from the supermarket and realizing that you have forgotten some things. I will urge young couples to always make a list for avoiding any fights and misunderstandings.

I normally don't have a shopping list with me. I do the shopping for the house, therefore i know what to buy. Sometimes i forget some items but i don't make a list. I don't think that the majority of the people on this forum would make shopping lists. What do you think?
