My question to those who own a business is : Do you advertise your business and if yes how often do you advertise it ? Where do you advertise it. Do you pay an agency to do that for you, or you somehow do it yourself?

In forum sites, advertising will cost as forums cannot live without revenue. We can choose marketplace for even paid traffic, like, comment and subscriptions. Just we have to plan type if advertisement to promote.

I am currently making use of the blog posts and the forum posts for reaching out to new places. And hoping that it would work out. to some extent that may work though. just takes more time.

Blog is still good, if it is our own, then ads are free; we just have to promote our blog. Yet there are many ways to directly promote the business; we have to advertise just to make people aware of the business.

It is good to have our own blog and monetize it the right way.If we have Google Adsense on it,we might be very careful where we promote our blog,because Google Adsense does not accept any type of traffic...

I think if you have enough budget you can advertise your online business using Facebook ads or Google Adwords.If it is a local business,you can advertise in your country's famous websites,who are renting ad spaces on their sites.

These days the amount of traffic that you can get from the search engine is reducing. And it can be pretty tough on that note. I do see your point about the traffic from say social media that may work out. But the thing is that you need to work really hard before you can start sending the traffic from social media towards the blog or site. In between avoid PTC and traffic exchange that traffic is worth less.

My advertisement are from facebook. I pay for facebook ads and I also do it free. By posting on facebook groups with the same niche with the product

Actually I don't have my personal business doing offline but am working on a particular company that deal with food stuff. Our Company use to advertise product via social media pages and website. They have official Facebook page and YouTube channel mainly for the purpose of advertising.

Yea sure, advertising will bring more investors or customers to a particular business. If possible a company may try to use shorts videos on YouTube channel to gist audience a little bit about thier business, it's a kind of motivation.
