My question to those who own a business is : Do you advertise your business and if yes how often do you advertise it ? Where do you advertise it. Do you pay an agency to do that for you, or you somehow do it yourself?

On every social media you can advertise your self for free. It's free but it is much longer job then when you buy what you want. So you can choose, expensive and shorter or free but longer.

Yes it is free but there are also people who invest for paid advertisement for social media so that their ads will be posted with little section on the news feed. This will help the be noticed by many users

Yes,since the success of social media platforms many businessmen or webmasters etc had turned their attention to Facebook etc,as there were new earning possibilities.I have seen some statistics about huge amount of cash,that are made every year on Facebook.

both offline and online community has made business easier cos with social media platforms like facebook, twitter, instagram, whatsapp etc you can advertise your business freely or paid depends on level of advertising or method

I think any business should take the opportunity of having free ads and promotion from every social media They can ask help from their friend to share their page and their products too, that will serve as a free advertisement for their business.

Yes,social media platforms may play a big role in advertising a certain type of business,but I think,if it about a bigger volume of business,it needs to be created an advertisement on Facebook ads,even if the price is not that low.I think,advertising with Facebook ads will have success.

I tried promoting my articles on facebook groups and on forums, facebook drives a lot of traffic just instantly but the forum keep driving a little bit of traffic for long time.

Does your old forum ads still receiving you traffic?

If your business is online, advertise in YouTube just like Mobile Legends: Bang Bang doing. And if your business is offline, post in every light and street sign post just like Malabanan Sip Sip Pozo Negro doing. Put yourself in the perspective of customer not a business owner.

Putting yourself as a customer is better way to advertise, because this is how a business is understood by customer and make him interested in it.
Using help of paid tweets, blogs, videos etc gives better publicity.

Yes,you are right about it.The most successful businessmen are always thinking,what is the best for the customers,the clients.I have seen many successful business putting the clients desire on the first place and not trying to get rich overnight.They needed more time,but once success achieved,they remained on top.

I think these days advertising on the craiglist type of the lsiting is lot better idea. I'd surely recommend you that option. And you can take it for the advertising. I would say that you should be spending a lot of time and money for the same. You can also do it free but you'd have to do this on your onw. there are some fo the people who can get into advertising business. and it should be something you can be working towards these days. facebook groups is another of that option.

@Yugocean i did not have ads on the forums, i posted articles of my blog i did not have ads on my blog for that i can not tell you which traffic was better but i can tell you that the forums keep driving people to my blog during 4 years and until now , and this traffic is really effective.

Actually friends are not buyers, they will get angry if Page owner becomes advertiser unless there is something they don't mind.

I agree.. I mean its okay to advertise your product to your friend like once or twice because he is going to understand you but if you spam it every day they might get bored so I would not recommend you to do that. Just make some fans on your page and then advertise.

Yes,you are right about it.Though,if your friend is very understanding,you can spam him everyday with your products.He might be buying many products from you..Just make sure,that the products,you advertise are of quality,otherwise your friend will spam you everyday with questions about the products

Spamming will turn a friend into unfriend even if he/she won't report you. You can be allowed to advertise only which a person is interested. For example if any of your friend is interested in earning Bitcoin, you can advertise your link to him/her; show your payment proof etc to convince it. Yet don't to to those who are not interested.

@Yugocean you right man even if you have an email list you have to take good care of your followers sometime send to them interesting advices, useful articles,and in a few times spamming emails Otherwise your friends will tunr into unfriends as you said.

Advertising to email is less effective now because now people hardly use emails, they have so many emails coming into their mails, mostly they are going to be ignored. People only use email to get their site link activated, after which surely nobody will care. Actually we have to find interest of people and let share the business as per their interest only.

advertising your business is a must, i mean you can do for free on social media sites and some forum sites. It is a way to promote your business so do the most of it as long as it is allowed to the site, just avoid spamming. Now if you have a budget, then go for paid ads.
