Hello , so
i don't know if that's true or not , but i always had the idea that videos ( on youtube of course ) with long titles don't attract people , when the videos with short titles do , for example :
we have two videos with the same content but with different titles :
1st vid's title : how to increase your FPS in CS GO and remove lag | working 100%
2nd vid's title : CS GO FPS INCREASE
for me , i'm sure that the 2nd video will get more views since the title is short and explains what's inside the vid in very few words , when the second one will take more milliseconds too read , in this case , the youtube user will go for the vid with a shorter title since he's in a hurry .
what do you think about that ? am i wrong or am i right ? let us know more about that in the comments as well .
have a nice day :D !

when you make any video on youtube you have to avoid 2 things:

the long videos (more than 12 minutes because people won't be interesting anymore to watch your video )
and also try to make a short and interesting title to let them came and watch your video

Well, that's true but not always bro, it really depends on the video, if it's entertaininh and well edited, then why not, also if your video is 10 mins long, there is a better chance for it to have higher rank in the searchlist

A video's title is more than just a minor detail or an afterthought – it's a major factor in whether people decide to click the play button or not. No matter how good your videos are, weak titles make it hard to get views and grow your audience.
Very true . most people in other to get high views on their videos will go as far as using clickbaits on the video , to make people click on the videos. But in the end , people end up giving them bad reviews .

yeah you're right if the video is a course or something like that then it's okay to make it longer but in general try always to reduce it as you can

i myself get asleep when watching some videos, especially when there are no cuts between each sentence when the youtuber doesn't prepare the script of the video

haha yeah me too, of course not all the channels give an excellent quality of videos. which programmer (editing) do you use for your channel?
filmora9?

Yea . most people online don't normally have the patience to read a long title , most prefer a very short and detailed title that will give the overall details of the video within a short while .
Also the video screen cover also helps .

exactly bro, yeah short with full information about the subject of the video is the key to success on youtube and don't ignore the editing of the video also

The title needs to capture as accurately as possible, the primary words that a viewer would type into the search bar.
The description of the video is very important and must include as many vital search words as possible.
Depending on the video subject, a short title may evoke more curiosity than a long title.
However the extra word or two may help the viewer to decide whether the video is what they are looking for.

That's my 2 bob. Cheers ???

thanks bro, i kinda have the ability to have views if i want, if i focus on a video that want to get views, i'll use custom tags and keywords, thumbails help too

Personally, I don't think long titles have any effect on whether users will view your videos or not. Provided the title is about the video content, I don't see anything bad about whether it's long or short.
I think the only advantage associated with bitcoin is that most people when searching for videos uses short keywords , long title offers an opportunity to have in it , a part of the short keywords used.

A very long title is not too good because visitor need to click to see the whole title, only few people gonna do it. The solution, you can make good thumbnail to solve the problem

Just to conclude, meanwhile my opinion here, I have already said it and that remains.
I have a Youtube channel with 3 videos uploaded. (see below)
Language: Italian, however you can see the length of the titles, it seems optimal to me. (not too long, not too short)
But, the number of views, in these years, since I posted them, is certainly not excessive!
Anyway ou can see everything in this screenshot.

Create videos based on long keywords

YouTube long keyword targeting can help you get people to watch your videos instead of your competitors.

One way to define keywords is to use YouTube's suggestion feature. In the YouTube search box, type a word that you know your audience is interested in and note the suggested searches on YouTube. These are not just random suggestions; They depend on what users want to see. Use these suggestions as themes for your videos.

For example, based on the suggestions of the term "content marketing", you could create a video that focuses on "content marketing for beginners" and another on "content marketing ideas."

Also check out your competitors 'channels for the types of videos they post and see the keywords they target. Note these keywords for future videos.
I understand dear friend, and I also know that you cannot understand Italian language.
But, after all, sorry, in your opinion, what would be the keywords that I should add to these three videos?
Thank you.

the titles on your video are completely fine, but they aren't those long that i'm actually talking about, for me, the best to do is to add a medium length + rest would be in the thumbnail

I agree, however then, the real interest by any video, remains above all, in the content of what it is. Not least, the argument that it deals.

You see. I don't remember either if it's possible to add TAGs to our videos uploaded on Youtube. You know it?
Thank you.
