We all do know that : not everyone likes 18+ pics, kids browsing websites and also religious people as well .
People in the future will be like : oh cmon, don't click there, there is sexual content .
Do you think that the 18+ ads in your website affect your website in a negative why ?

I forgot to mention the 18+ notifications that stick into your phone, i had a really hard time removing them from my little brother's phone ( he is 9 years old )

It's not just religious people and kids. Some people don't like viewing sexual content at all because it is annoying/distracting especially when they are on a website/app that has nothing to do with ***. It also can be considered as unprofessional.

yeah it's so bad for your site
I mean this why you see big advertisement comapnies like google adsense doesn't do those kind of ads
if they accept it they will get so much bad reviews
Clean ads are better

I can feel you, once my mom was walking by and suddenly that 18+ ad appeared and it was really hard for me to convince her that it was only in ad, i hope they disappear from internet.

It does because a lot of people frowns at it. Mother's, father's wouldn't want to view it because they believe they should live by example and youths will definitely not be allowed by parents so it affects traffic.

Sometimes when I'm doing shortlinks I have to make sure no one's looking since I never know when there's some random ads that show adult content and people might think I'm lurking at p*rn LOL

Same thing, I can't do them if my family are around those new shortner links sites became more like adult sites than an earning ones to be honest

Yes! They almost always come with viruses as well!
So yes, they do definitely affect your traffic. Some people would want to click everything close immediately and leave the site.

Same lol, i have to minimize the tab so i can close the ad or the pop-up

You definitively will lose traffic on your website if its unrelated to those NSWF advertisements.
I personally close any site that tries to pull that on me. Faucets especially. They always go overboard with those stupid ads and pop ups to nsfw networks.

Depends on your demographics really. If your site's content is geared for teenagers or kids then it would be wise to not put any adult ads there. If your site is a dating website however...

It depends upon content which you are searching if you are searching for 18 + content then it is fine but if you are going to search something else and you find the 18+ material which is just stuck into your required content so at that time you feel annoying and distract your mind from the work so as a result visitor would never come back to your site again that is why keep clean your website from 18 + content and one more thing that no one would share your website with any one and no one can easily view your website with family or in a office which ends as no traffic on the website.

I do not think so because it is not the owner of the blog or the site that controls the ads that appear on the site

While the owner does not control every ad, they do indeed have controls. Almost all (or possibly all) advertising companies have options for you to choose what kind of ads appear. If 18+ ads are on a site, then the owner has chosen for them to appear.

i personally don't like them and they are so annoying especially when they open in pop-ups, they just get me straight in a trouble and i have to explain to the people around me that that's just an ad ... i hope they disappear once for all ..

Most of the "moral honest people" will leave the site once they face regular adult advertisements. It will also hamper a brand value (unless brand itself an adult company).

I too feel the same and that's why I don't like any website which have 18+ adult ads because we need to be careful while accessing the website when around our family or kids or even our friends and same way it would negatively affect the traffic on the website.

Agreed. If facebook shows fully adult ad on right side or as sponsored embedded on news feed I will turn down Facebook to 2 right from 10 out of 10 whatever their profit level or other benefits just an adult ad can turn their level deep down. So adult ad matters in losing userbase.

Adults traffic can be greatly capitalized to make insane amount of money if you know how. Don't forget to get bullet proof domain and off-shore hosting for your site's immunity in the long run.
