Many people now a days have started to trade in mobile. The mobility and convenience to trade from any where makes it a traders most choosen software.

But there are some restrictions too which are as follows.

1. It doesn't have trailing stop loss feature.
2. You can't copy trade here.
3. You can't use algo trading.
4. So many slipppages.
5. Battery consumption is very high.

These are the main drawbacks of trading in mt4 app in Android or iOS

I think the only advantage there is the fact that you can do your trading on the move, apart from that, it is way better to trade on a pc as much as possible.

Exactly. And those who uses mobile trading, trades on the go. It is just good for convenience. But when you consider the features, PC trading is far far better.

Stop-loss is a very important features that should no be wavered when trading. It helps to minimize losses and risk.

But stop loss can be used in mobile trading also. Mobile trading has all the basic features of trading. And you can utilize it for stop loss as we all take profit.

Concerning to the topic on the disadvantages of trading on mobile phones. Well, I don't do much of trading and I haven't tried it before on my personal computer(PC), but there is no lie about the high battery consumption when using a phone

Yes. Bettery consumption is Very high and the heating up of bettery issue also surfaces if we extensively use the app. It is only good when we are out of our home to trade in mobile, otherwise PC should always be preferred.

Yeah mate, though trading on mobile phones is very convenient for those travelling frequently, but the app overheats your mobile phone, which can shorten the life of your battery.

I just use my phone for trading because of how convenient it is.. also for basic trading it works okay so...

I am good with mobile , and it is very convenient for me, but trading with computer is better if you need good results, and better earnings too

I agree with the disadvantages of trading on your mobile phone mentioned here. Indeed forex trading consumes so much phone battery. Also, you won't enjoy those features like stop loss like you would in other devices like the laptop or Computer.

Asides all these things you have listed, I can't really see any disadvantage of trading with my mobile. I trade with my mobile, and i think I'll prefer it to a desktop anytime.

You must be right I think that there is no big disadvantages trading on mobile but compare the screen resolution with that of desktop you will see that its very convinient to trade with desktop than mobile

I doubt that too. Though I am not so conversant with forex trading. In my own thinking, I think these features are in some apps that can be used on phone. This is because in this era, people are working more on making sites and apps to be mobile friendly since so many people prefer smartphones than computers.

I am not a trader myself but the Litle tech I am savvy of is that you can configure any mobile device to disploy the desktop version on any mobile device more especially if you have a big screen.Has anybody tried it though the screen may need to be scrolled.

There is no way a developer will make an app that will not be able to have the features in the web form.
