One of the major concerns with cryptocurrency is how easily it can be scammed from people. Since it is an online system there is no sense of actual security that is involved and as a result people are very sceptical when it comes to investing in cryptocurrency. Especially with various cryptocurrency coins not being trackable and the coins and transactions also not being traced if you do lose cryptocurrency to a Ponzi scheme or a scam of any sort then it is very unlikely that you are able to recover that money. Recently a news article has shown that the criminal investigation Bureau in Taiwan and actually found 14 people that were accused of scamming various citizens in the country of their cryptocurrency investments. Currently the group is being charged with money laundering and fraud and it is shown that they have breached an organised crime prevention act. It seems that legal action is a will to be taken against cryptocurrency scammers and this is a very good step in the right direction to try and implement and legalize cryptocurrency in the future.

I think these thieves need to be sued and if found guilty should be sued because I don't understand why someone will just be out to be scamming people. People need to be careful online

This is good news as this will show the government that crypto currency is not actually anonymous as they think. They should understand that the system can help them detect scammers

Am glad they were arrested , because they would truly need to learn in the hard way not to involve in crypto scams and obviously teach others a lesson

There have been people who have been arrested before them, yet they are not concerned about this and still fall victim to crypto related crime

This is one of the reasons why cryptocurrency regulation and KYC will be good for the ecosystem. Anonymity will only be used to further crime by crooks.
