A survey carried out earlier in the year has shown that about 90% of all countries are considering and pursuing having their own Central Bank Digital Currencies. This is in no way a bad thing but how this will affect Cryptocurrencies is of concern.

Everett Millman, a Gainesville Coins Inc., cryptocurrencies and precious metal analyst opinionated that provided there are inter operations between both structures, there should be a middleground where CBDCs and Cryptocurrencies can exist simultaneously.

What are your thoughts about CBDCs affecting the Cryptocurrencies market? Do you think that coexistence is a possibility for these digital assets?

CBDC - Central Bank Digital Currency is purely a DIGITAL form of Fiat currency.

The advantages we have using bitcoins and cryptocurrencies like mining, claiming faucets, etc. will be missing.
You are right. When it is looked at critically, both currencies have nothing against one another except what the various governments seem to create in their heads.

I don't see CBDC affecting or putting threat on crypto market because the two don't work in the same way. I am even sure that most people won't embrace the CBDC of a thing.

Thing is.. people likes and owned crypto currency becomes they can make money out of it.. will the cbdc give the same benefits as that? I don't think so.. those can't be volatile in anyway

Well, CBDC is not a bad idea and I really support new innovation but comparing it with cryptocurrency is were the issue lies, because what ground will CBDC fall into or have a say, foremost there is no incentives attached,we already have POS that run electronic transaction, will it's implementation give the local currency more value? Questions like this are the reason while crypto currency will always be clear.

good to see that the cbdc are interested in building a digital currency ,but I would really love it if they could make it in existence for people to particularly trade crypto currency with the digital currency that they have actually made ,atleast to make things a lot more better and even popularise the digits currency
