Mutscon Music a Zimbabwean music production company has announced that cryptocurrency such as bitcoin and ethereum can now be used to pay for services. This decision was made in part due to current pandemic-related movement limitations, according to the firm.

The circulation of the national currency cannot be affected , people invest in stock ,forex and it's not affected ,I don't think it will affect anything
I hope so too. If actually forex and stock trading and investment doesn't affect the country's economy then I don't see any potential threat that cryptocurrency will actually pose to the economy

I read similar article on the adoption of cryptocurrency as legal tender in Zimbabwe. I would suggest the country copy the strategy of El Salvador.
It's a very good idea if the Zimbabwean government could imitate the approach adopted by El Salvador. It would be much easier if they could get mentorship from El Salvador.

I know that for Zimbabwe to take a step of making crypto currency as legal tender, they would have determined how El Salvador has been managing it. They have quite known that it could be an advantage for them if accepted as legal tender. We've not seen a country that accept crypto as legal tender and drop it for one reason or another.

Yeah, since they can make payment from anywhere in the country without moving an inch out from the house, it is very safe and conducive option to pay for goods and services.

The best place to get ideas about the success of an industry is from the successful ones in the field. El Salvador has paved the way for other countries and they are thr pioneer adopter of bitcoin as legal tender.

This is definitely a very good news and it indicates that crypto is moving in the right direction and people would now want to adopt it even more .

This will definitely continue even after the pandemic as we can see already. More people have now embraced using Cryptocurrencies as a payment method and even many more have shown interest in doing the same. Hopefully, other African countries will take a cue from Zimbabwe and be more liberal towards the use of Cryptocurrencies.
