It does happened. One of my friend was arrested for trading bitcoin too. Our country Nigeria is not a conducive place for internet related activities. Anything that will make ordinary man become wealthy is not given the needed support by the policy maker. I pray God to help us out soon.

Hmm this isnt good because if its no legalised then there is need for such arrest , well the government should do something about that ,to stop things like this

It is not the government just uniform men taking advantage of people for their selfish interest. To them, anything you're doing online is tagged as fraud. Even some fiverr freelancer were also arrested some years back bcus, they saw them with a payoneer master card.

Only God knows what this country is going into. I don't think earning money online is a crime especially when it is legit. Poverty is enough to worry about and now we are trying to make money legitly but the uniform men are arresting us.

The uniform men finds it difficult to arrest people who makes money online legitmately because they have proof but those engage in cyber crime are the one been arrested because they are more.

I'm so glad your country has finally accepted cryptocurrencies as well, as it is doing practically all over the world now.
I hope this also represents something really good, even for your economy.
The country has not officially accepted Crypto currencies any where but the approach or decision on Crypto currencies has been very linient to those trading it.

I see. Sorry maybe I not understand very well.
Anyway, I believe for your country, this should be something that will happen in the short term of time.
Are you agree?

Well, however the cryptocurrencyes are a decidedly new asset.
Just thinking that the Bitcoin for example, was created only in 2008. So many are still not entirely confident.

I don't think is a new thing that Nigerian government have endorsed Cryptocurrency. We have been using Cryptocurrency in a legalized way. Even some banks exchange Bitcoin to naira for me. What I will believe you say now, is that, we are imposing more security guidelines to merchants trading Cryptocurrency at large. And also trading Cryptocurrency at large in our country, by having Cryptocurrency ATM, sending and receiving Cryptocurrency to one another through bank transfer. And doing other host of transaction within our specific banks.

Nigerians have always been pioneers in the acceptance of crypto currency as a lot of Nigerians were made millionaires from bitcoin successes albeit others who have recorded huge profits from other altcoins. The Nigerian government showing interest in crypto currency is coming too late as early birds usually make the most profits

I'm sorry, but what do I mean for "early birds?"
So from what I understand, they would realize in Nigeria, more profit respect then other inhabitants?
Maybe I didn't understand well, forgive me.

Early birds is just a term used to describe people that were among the first set of persons who accepted a product offers or in this case bitcoin. And usually in investment the first set of people called early birds always get the best offers and make more profit

I'm sorry. You know, this term in Italian It has a completely different meaning. Indeed we mean "mattiniero"( That is the one who gets up early in the morning).
And so, I absolutely don't understand. Foregive me.

It time Nigerians embrace crypto currency and begin to adopt it fully as a means of exchange for goods and services. It isn't s bad idea at all and it will help the economy
