L

Guest
Three Arrows Capital CEO Su Zhu berated Ethereum and its community in a scathing tweet.

The billionaire said that influential people not active behind are reason of low growth along increasing fees

According to reports he is selling $77 million. On the ftx crypto exchange

Thanks

I'm not sure where is he is going with the increasing fees reasoning, as the increasing fees are caused by the amount of traffic in the network, the more traffic the more is needed to be processed hence other people would have to pay more to get the priority to be processed hence the increasing fee, not sure why he is blaming other people because of the increasing fee, clearly he doesn't know what he's blaming but just blaming for the sake of it

yeah he have lost interest ,but must he publicise it to actually discourage investors ,that actually want to invest in ethereum ,to me this is actually a very big blow to the community ,so many of his followers might do the same ,only those who stand still and believe that would continue to hold

I always thought that those fees are no issues for the very wealthy but this guy seems to have changed my thinking. That aside, Ethereum developers need to hurry and make room for a solution to the huge network fees plaguing the Ethereum network because if rich investors have issues with it, retail investors are likely to steer clear totally.

even the rich are now saving their money with the economy is going ,so once they see issues with the ethereum investment , placing interest would be just so difficult for them ,it's very true that retail investors would steer clear away very fast

Ethereum really need to lower their fees immediately otherwise they will lose whales whose capital make their market capitalization go higher because of high volume.Without this high volumes their coin will begin to shrink over time and all investors might eventually lose interest in the coin. There are so much competitive and promising coins out there so they really need to act fast on their fees.

I wish they could bring up a fast solution to lower their fees ,once the fees are way too high ,many would be discouraged in investing in the platform ,I also hope they get to fix the huge fees ,it's all going to be better for the platform , they created some second version of network probably that would reduce it

Same here. Never thought they are bothered by the huge fees until today.. i always think of Ethereum as rich people's crypto currency because it's too much for people that's just buying few dollars crypto.. not wise to use for small transactions but if you're rich it doesn't matter.. is what i thought

Never this thought strick my mind not even for once, that increase in fees would create such an issue that a wealthy investor, not just wealthy, but a billionaire person would take his step back due to this reason. I guess now the billionaire is also focusing on saving money due to the current status of the economy. If billionaires are having difficulty with increased fees, what would a normal investor do in such a case?

If billionaires are even complaining of ETH transaction fees its a sign that the fees is way above normal.Bitcoin has high fees, but we have never heard its billionaire investors complaining about meaning the fees is high although highly reasonable that overally not every investor would complain but only a few.

Ethereum has become a burden in terms of the gas fees, but on the flip side, it is the most used currency used in nfts. I beleive ETH would have more influence in the future.

Ethereum is the second fastest growing crypto overall after bitcoin, but their fees are limiting their potential.Eth fees is high, crypto taxes are also high in another regard.Eth knows this, that in a country like in the US where crypto taxes start at around 30% investing in ETH will be hard for small investors
