Data released by blockchain forensics company Chainalysis on April 10 shows that throughout the previous month, the total amount of transactions obtained by accounts of suspected scams dropped by at least 30 per cent.

Amid efforts by scammers to exploit COVID-19 paranoia by duping targets into installing fraudulent software, subscribing to charity impersonations, or claiming to produce coronavirus remedies, the COVID-19 global epidemic seems to have led to a significant drop in income from crypto scammers.

Well that's strange and weird, it's supposed that the opposite that should happen since internet users increased, but well glad that the scammers ratio decreased

Yeah it should decrease like this day by day because people are getting educated and smart enough to find the scammers and their scam sites..

Shouldn't it be the other way around? As with psychology most people can be easily scam because of the threat of the pandemic . Though great news

Its because people no longer have time and money to waste ,due to fund shortage attached to the pandemic, its a great news hear

This suppose to happen the other way round most people are now active on internet trying to invest well is a good news if it drop

People were really investing because of the compulsory stay at home policy. Well if this news is anything to go by. Then it good news if scamming has actually reduced
