I think that this lawsuit will have major repercussions for ripple. If you look at the drop over the last day, this by itself was quite large. Furthermore, there is speculation that if there is a win by the SEC that the coin may become untradeable and have no value. Therefore the risk is very high with ripple right now.

Yes it has already starting to affect the price of xrp and will continue until the charges are dropped. We could be looking into January or February before the charges will be dropped and xrp will rise again.

I did not read crypto news so first time hearing it. i just saw some dats ago bitcoin going up but xrp still making down unusually. glad i did not buy xrp4l that time. Ripple i just recently wanted just because out of all 4l or 4s xrp was best in % profit then ltc. otherwise i avoid top coins. so that news definitely wastes ripple reputation that much i can say and probably they might lose some capital investment which might harm coin flow in future.

Ripple has dropped by 30% today due to the lawsuit. I have heard that three exchanges have frozen trading in ripple. At the moment buying is only for the brave, or perhaps foolish depending on your view.

It will surely made a huge impact on it, ripples market is not very strong yet, and after this it will face a server downfall I don't think it will grow as a major crypto currency.

I have a clearer picture now why the law suit was instituted from your post The last article I read about it didn't clarify things. For me I think it will boost the price making ripple to rise in price

Yeah that made a great negative impact on ripple. About 55% down last week. Can you imagine how much loss the big investors have got. Let's hope it successfully recovers from this downfall.

It might help if someone took the risk, but not a large one.

But facing a lawsuit does not look good, and it will take a really long time for people to trust ripple again.

Yeah that's right. XRP is till now the most popular cryptocurrency below 1$ . So it needs to back to its original form. Let's hope they win the case.

Pretty sure they've had 2 of these kinds of lawsuits before, and they won both of them. From what I can tell from the lawsuit claims, the likelihood of ripple winning, in my opinion, is very high also if they do win this. I'm just gonna make this short by saying that companies and banks, etc we'll probably trust them more, thereby making the price of ripple skyrocket; that's just my opinion though.

Investing in ripple, despite more than halving in price, carries the same caveat of all types of investing ie do not invest more than you can afford to lose.

From what I read yesterday, they are making a strong case and are not willing to give up on ripple.

I will surely buy some amount of ripple, just to avoid regrets later.
