There are many new cryptocurrency coins that joined the market any given day of the week and I think that this is especially because there is such ease in creating this cryptocurrency coins. One of the major cryptocurrency coins that has been spoken about a lot over the past few weeks is solana. This cryptocurrency has managed to pitch some of the major cryptocurrencies that were in the top 10 of the crypto-currency market cap including ripple and dogecoin. Do you think that it is possible for this cryptocurrency to beat ethereum in the coming weeks and months considering the fact that it is able to offer faster transactions and a lower transaction fee than the alternative crypto currency of choice currently.

Personally.. right now I don't think so.. while solana is rising so is Ethereum and there's far more support for Ethereum than solana.. at least for now. But it's not impossible we don't know

I do not think solana would overtake ethereum so easily. My thoughts is that solana would do this if it continues to maintain faster transaction speed and lower transaction fee. But it wouldn't be anytime soon.

This is the case at the moment however i think that i am starting to see that there is a lot of institutional interest that is starting for the solana crypto as well, and this could be a key factor.

Perhaps in the near future.. we can't say that it will surpass Ethereum yet since there's also talks about Ethereum surpassing Bitcoin itself so who knows

I think that if ethereum is able to address some of the key concerns in crypto like transaction fees then it may as well surpass bitcoin as companies will start to invest in it and use it as well.

Based on developments on each ecosystem, it's possible that Solana passes Ethereum. Based on people's psychology, I doubt it. Also Solana needs to cool off after this run, so we may be seeing the top or close to it for now.

They are working on making it cheaper aren't they? Maybe they can make it lower than Bitcoin if they do they might surpass it finally

I don't think so , Solana might have risen to quite a height but it still need to rise to a high extent to be able to surpass ethereum which may not be possible because ethereum will be rising as well

It's not so easy like that , ethereum have been created since and you cant just expect Solana to overtake ethereum just like that , there are still attention on ethereum

I personally don't think so. Ethereum is the second highest valued cryptocurrency, and it has a lot use case and adoption. It is quite much more popular than Solana.

I would say NO in this time of life. ETH is too strong at the moment and it's even growing more. Solana is a very good coin with low fee's but it will take some years to reach that level of ETH.

Definitely, it will take a lot of time before it will get to tthe level of ethereum. I love the fact that it has a low transaction fee which makes it very adoptable.

That would not be possible at the meantime, I understand that Solana on its own is moving up. But ETH have already settled with large whales investors.

Yes , it can but the bigger risk will have to be taken by the investors in this case which is not a plausible idea at the moment because the coin has not shown growth at the moment according to the expectations and so that is what you can expect the coin to be moving in a fair direction and right manner ATM

Solana cant surpass Ethereum,because it is token which is built on Ethereum surface. This means the moves on solana are similar to the Ethereum. It can make 1/2 of ethereum price,but never wont surpass it. Ethereum is still top 3 most perferred tokens.

Lol. Good luck beating the second most popular coin in the world. Not to mention, Ethereum's smart contract feature powers many other crypto projects including NFT, so there is now way Sol can beat Eth, unless the dev behind Eth makes fatal mistakes like Do Kwon did.

I read another post about Solana here. And that posts is the latest one compared to this one. It was the first time that I heard of this cryptocurrency on that post. Well, since I am not personally involved in cryptos, there are many things on the forums like this that I hear for the first time and then go to research about it Reading the comments there, it was evident that most people felt that it would surpass with current happenings.. Solana has emerged as a strong cryptocurrency in the recent times.
