One of the hardest things to do is to try and convince someone that is set on the fiat currency to look into the world of crypto ,and in order for crypto to be a well adopted payment system it is necessary that the education on it increases drastically as well. How do you think older generations can be convinced of the cryptocurrencies? Especially since they only tend to believe in currencies they can physically see and hold, such as their fiat currency. In my opinion, i think demonstrations are the best way to convince these people, as seeing is believing, and showing them the potential and possible purchases may help them in understanding the system and considering it.

They all need to be educated or enlighten about the crypto currency and how it functions or works. It might be an immediate thing for them to accept but consistency is the keyword that will be needed to pull through

The older generation are not tech savvy and thus convincing them won't really be easy . I think only those of them that are open to changes can be convinced

Believe me, it's easier said than done. I tried to convince my boss about Bitcoin and it's potential, seeing that he's a business savvy person.

I gave up. They simply prefer to have investment they can see and feel.

Lol nothing good comes easy even some young ones like me till take time to convince. It took me a while to be convinced about bitcoin bit I'm really active at it now. So just keep at it

True i think it would be hard because those older generation have faced a lot of online scars back then , so convincing them would be really hard , i think you could just tell them about it and use payment proof to show it's legit

It depends on the old generation you're talking about, there are those that are still working and they can easily buy the idea while those that are retired need the education for them to try to understand cryptocurrency.

Yes, we can't group all of them under one category. There are still the young at heart even at old age. Getting those type to buy the whole idea of bitcoin will be very easy unless it from the archaic ones

Some of them just don't trust any investment that is not local and/or physical.

Some are simply stubborn.

The Older generation are conservative in nature so might not go with the volatile nature of cryptos. Its best to let them be and allow them to decide for themselves. Bitcoin is doing well and may influence them to change their mindset on cryptos.

I get your point but it's still wouldn't hurt to try telling them about it, you never know. Also the type of relationship one has with them is also a factor in convincing them

Well, my dear friend, for some this will be possible, but in my opinion, definitely not easy.
In my case, for example, the oldest people remained are only my parents, now over seventy. I already say that for them, it would be something impossible!
