Let me start with myself, in my region the minimum amount of monthly living wage is about 200 USD. What about yours?

Just for the curiosity sake since BMF members come from all over the world, I think to myself "why not ask this kind of question?". I want to know more about countries all around the world and its economies.

The minimum wage for my country is low , currently it shuttle in the range of $100 which is not a good one but we hope things get better for with time.

We who live in a third world country actually have a huge advantage over other, more developed countries, considering how we can quickly cover up our expenses working online.

I guess the minimum wage for advanced countries are calculated per hour not on monthly basis like the tier 3 countries does so it could be differ .

I have a friend living in America, there the minimum is about 1,000 per month in some of the cheaper states, but in big city like New York, you need at least 4,000-5,000 USD per month in order to survive.

The US and UK has higher minimum wage, I was told in US you get minimum wage of $11 per hour work , so you can imagine what can be made by people with multiple jobs daily.

The federal minimum in the US is 7.5 per hour, but many stats raise the minimum into 10-15 USD per hour. In fact, even with that payrate, many Americans are still struggling to get by.

My country nearly 94% this minimum monthly waging. Still poverty dominates in a vast population densed country. Not easy to manage or feed people.

Poverty is basically everywhere, even in the most advanse countries like US, and this pandemic will only make more people fall into poverty sadly.

It depends in our country from state to state. But something around $100-$200 is perfectly ok for the normal living. For rural and daily wage workers , they are happy with $70-$100 also.

Yeah i agree with you . Bangladesh is developing everyday and there is a lot of scope to come in developed countries. Garments sector is profitable business in our country as well.

This pandemic will test each and every country resiliency. China starting to lose face and several companies are starting to pull out from China.
