The comment period on the rules proposed by the US Treasury Department's FinCEN for crypto money wallets has been extended.
In the official statement made by the institution, the public comment period was extended for 15 days for reporting transactions, and 45 days for record keeping and counterparty reporting.

I think the US citizens are given opportunity to make their view known to the government about the proposed bill on cryptocurrency

The USA government is about to pass a bill that will make cryptocurrency exchanges pay high tax and this is why they gave the citizens opportunity to say something about it
