Coinbase has been reportedly trying to be listed on the stock market and this may not be very far off. According to a recent article, it seems that this could happen in the next couple of weeks, with Coinbase expected to be listed on the NASDAQ market by the 14th of April (this month). This follows its approval from the SEC. What are your thoughts on this, and could this result in a massive hike in bitcoin prices and other Coinbase supported currencies?

Maybe it might affect the crypto market slightly in a negative approach , because a lot of investors might want to spread their investment to buying coinbase shares

The concern that i have with crypto and Coinbase being on the stock exchange is the amount of limitation that may ensue afterwards for cryptocurrency as well, due to the regulated nature with it being on the stock market.

Its the other way round not coinnase adding nasdaq , but nasdaq adding coinbase as a share ,so you can do your trading on the stock exchange market if you want to

Don't get me wrong, mate. I said it that you said now. I know that NASDAQ a stock market that runs with tech companies like our traditional stock market ith extra features. So long, we knew that crypto and stock is different, now a crypto wallet company adding to a stock market. It sounds are great.

I hope they do actually but i never heard about the traffic limit and issue , how did that happen , i would really like to know more ,but coinbase should improve their platform

Its the regulation that is in place that helps for the betterment of users , if there is no regulation in place then things might actually be different

I actually do want more regulation to be put in place , also on other sites too, to actually reduce the rate of scams in so many exchange platforms

This would not only hike the prices of bitcoins and altcoins but would encourage other exchanges to follow the suit.

Coinbase is so outstanding now and really adding value to it's services.well, I don't think coinbase being 9n the stock market can bring any increase in prices of bitcoin. Well, this is how I feel
