Coinbase has just recently announced the integration of .crypto blockchain domains via Unstoppable domains registrar to their wallet. This allows visitors to any crypto-related website to donate to their favorite webmaster simply by entering their website url (for example brad.crypto) as crypto address and donate whatever amount they like.

True . my attention was also drawn to that .crypto domain name . I guess since it was still available , the site used it then .
I believe more people when they search cryptocurrency domain names , it has more chance of appearing .

A lot of people already weary of shortened domain names like that. .xyz in particular has been used many times by scammers and HYIPs.

Well, since the DNS system is backed up by blockchain it's will be harder for hackers to hack it but easier for scammers to scam people since blockchain DNS are privately owned.
