The security exchange commission is very prominent in the cryptocurrency space right now and there are many peopel that are talking about them. It seems that they are also very confused on their stance on cryptocurrency with some saying that they should regulate crypto and others trying to target companies that are involved in cryptocurrency, such as the lawsuit that we have been seeing with ripple. However in a recent news article it seems that the coinbase company, one that is very prominent in terms of trading and wallets, has spoken out against the SEC with its CEO (Brian Armstrong) saying that the SEC is confused between what a security and what lending is. What do you think about this news and what do you understand is the difference between these two terms?

I have been looking for SEC's response to this call out by Coinbase. It seems they are trying to do things by the book but SEC seem to be on a different page entirely.
The SEC seems to be trying to ensure that cryptocurrency does not have a place in america, however with many states starting to add it to their constitution it does not seem like that will ever happen.

The SEC seems to take more than required and it is a good thing that Coinbase is making their opinion known without fear of anything

Coinbase CEO "Armstrong have seen the scenario that played down between SEC and Ripple. Knowing too well that SEC acted swiftly without proper investigation.

This might cause issue between sec and coinbase , but sec are making things more confusing ,they actually do need to state their terms concerning cryptocurrency
