The ripple cryptocurrency is quite a popular one however when it comes to the coin and its lawsuit that is ongoing with the security exchange commission it seems that there are many people that are uncertain about where the coin is likely to be in the future. As a result of this uncertainty and the major price drop that happened after the coin was subjected to this lawsuit, many exchanges delisted the coin. Recently people have been advocating for coinbase to relist the ripple coin however it seems that the exchange that is based in the United States of America has refused to do this. What are your thoughts on this?

Relisting it would have added more revenue to them through trading fees and others ,and despite the lawsuit case which is not longer a threat to the coin they should list it now

I agree with you however i think that because the coinbase is company is listed on the stock exchange as well they also have to very careful with which coins they are choosing to list as well.

Coinbase are always so careful about the coins they choose to list in their site. So they have to really look at the future of ripple before they readd it. And now with the lawsuit, they are uncertain about its future.

Yeah you are quite observant on this ,but it still seems that most exchange platform that list ripple in their site ,still have their stock listed on the exchange market ,maybe they have other reason for not doing so

This could be the case. It would be interesting to see if they have to release a press conference on why there is no listing of this coin. However i expect ripple to continue to grow even if this does not happen.

relistening would also create the risk to have a coin listed with a ongoing investigation. I am pretty sure, Coinbase consulted some overpaid lawyers to get an advice. They did not relist the coin just because of some SMW calling to bring back the coin. There is serious business risk

I don't think coinbase should be blamed for this, because there are some uncertainties around the cryptocurrency. I think they are waiting for when the lawsuit will be over before listing ripple again.

Well doesn't matter. Ripple doesn't really need Coinbase. It will only give opportunity for those exchange that refused to delist xrp before.m which is fair

Coinbase is based in the United States. Also it has a lot of clients who will not like to be involved in any way SEC. Listing ripple before the lawsuit is done can cause trouble for it.

Maybe Coinbase simply wants Ripple executive to emerge victorious first against SEC before reconsidering their plans to relist the coin into its exchange.

Yeah exactly is sec is related to United state and coinbase is located there , it's like they don't want to involve in anything that would bring issue between them ,so they rather act mute about it

Every exchange has the right to list and delist any coin and if Coinbase do not feel well about ripple , they are entitled to their own opinion .

Even when they've spoken in favour of Ripple recently, that SEC jumped in and branded Ripple a security, without confirmation of transactions.

They know exactly why they are still reluctant to add it back.

Rethinking this, Coinbase does have a lot to be cautious for especially with SEC involved and having gone public. I have also observed that even activities that seem like norm on platforms such as Binance have to follow due process on Coinbase.

If you see coinbase relist Ripple then the SEC of United States has given such directive until the company won't because their policies and operation bandwidth doesn't go outside that of SEC- US

Coinbase should relist the ripple as it is in their favor they can earn mone through the transaction fees and others transactions. Ripple is a good coin and coinbase should consider it and relist it as soon as possible because it is in their favor.

They Are Definitely take the safe side to be honest actually in my opinion in the deep interest of their investors and not causing hurdles tbh
