Coinbase has joined Visa which means now they'll be able to offer crypto debit cards to its users and also be able to expand its marketplace. It clearly shows that Visa supports the use of cryptocurrencies. With the help of the Coinbase debit card, users can spend 10 different cryptocurrencies right from their Coinbase balance on any shop that accepts Visa payments.

It is mostly for those in the US. So it can't be accessed by a lot of people but it still good enough for those that are eligible for it

The awareness would have been massive if it was for other countries especially the african countries. People outside the tier 1 countries need this awareness as well.

You hit the nail on the head. As good as these features are on coinbase, unfortunately, users who are able to utilize them would be the same ones that have no limitations in the first place.

The exchange platforms has the right to determine who uses their platform, I have once said coinbase is twin to PayPal , they are majorly created for tier 1 countries.

I am really happy for this news cos Visa card is the only card my bank ever gave me and am sure everyone knows they are not really on any wallet payment option around the world, with this I can make transactions on coinbase

I think you would probably need a crypto visa debit card to be able to withdraw incase you are given , and not the normal visa card that you would use
