CNET, a short of Computer Network, is a news site that has been around since 1994. The company mostly publish news related to technology, consumer electronics reviews, tech articles, videos and also podcast. Halsey Minor and Shelby Bonnie founded the company with the help from Fox Network, at first as four television programs relating to technology. Cnet also has a pretty significant software repository that offers more than 1 million softwares ranging from freeware, shareware to trials and demos of paid softwares. This caused issues as allegedly some of their downloads are infected with malware, even though Cnet has claimed that all software provided from their repository are scanned from viruses.
