These advertising networks serve as Google AdSense alternatives to many website owners around the world.
Chitika vs Infolinks.png

The question is which one perform better on your site? How much money you earn from Chitika and Infolinks?

I was using this ad network on my blog and I got paid once too as you can see in the screen shot. But in past they were paying using the paypal. Now they have dropped paypal as payment processor and now they are paying with Payoneer.

They haven't change payment processor only. In past as you can see minimum payout was 10$ which was still achievable considering earning is quite slow. But now they having minimum payout at 50$ which seems really hard to get.

As you can see I was quite near to my second payout but now I don't think I will try it. Still It is paying site , if anyone is having good traffic from country like US then they can earn well using this.

Like Infolinks , Chitika do pay publishers, however their advertising rates have drastically declined in the last three years, have not received payment in the last three years
Honestly after they have increase minimum payout from 10$ to 50$ and that also without paypal, I am not sure I will continue on it. Even 10$ was looking harder so reaching to 50$ is almost impossible. For now I have taken off all ads of chitika from my blog.

I didn't earn much from their network. In fact most of the earning from their network was extremely low. You can see that is one more reason they are not much into business. Very few sites are even using them. I guess depending on how the traffic is being handled it could be way to easily earn there.

Currently, I just began running ads from Chitika on my website. There CPM rates aren't that attractive. But it's worth a shot considering it'll be my first ad network monetization. Has anyone ever earned from them? If so, how would you say your overall experience was?

Not fast at all. They were good in past, but now they are not working for me at all. Plus with higher payout now its almost impossible to reach to it. (at least for me). Also one can earn good only if they having good viewers from some particular countries like US.

I heard about it once but i think it wont work for me. 50$ is too much for min pay out. Though it seems legit, earning such sum of money is too far for me to reach. Your right, someone with good traffic will definetly earn well from this.

I heared of it i read some reviews $50 to payout is too much. Do we really need to reach 50 ? Some of us are new most of us dont have knowledge about this those with good traffic or something to share can easily get it but for newbie its hard. Well thankyou for sharing ill try this one after checking its reviews

there are alot of good reviews about this ads network,so for it being legit I think they're but the problem is this high payout, people will or might not want to be part of it because of the payout unless one has tons of visitors. It not even easy making money with these popular networks

I tried Chitika many years ago as an alternative to adsense when Google did me dirty. Chitika didn't do anything wrong, but they didn't pay either. There was no revenue from any of the viewed or the clicked ads. I wondered what was wrong, and asked a friend in a different part of the world (not too far but still able to be counted) if they could click one to see if that was why.

I waited a day, and there was nothing but the count for the ad impression. I asked another friend (in the same country) if they could try it, and they showed me a video they recorded of them clicking it (and it was their desktop because I had helped them with a remote session for software before).

I asked a 3rd friend to click it and they did, and sent a screen shot. Still, no revenue recorded from Chitika, just that the ad was shown.

I also tried from a library, and there was still nothing.

After I posted to a forum to test it, several dozens of people clicked on it which it showed, but only 1 of those was counted. So it looked like they only counted them when they wanted to, not when they were viewed or when they were clicked on, which was not good. I stopped using them and if I remember correctly, I used another one called bidvertiser which didn't pay much, but still counted all of them.
This is an open opener because I have having it in mind to use them in case my adsense application doesn't pull through. That's why reviews are good, one get to read others experiences,so what's the essense of even using them, maybe one should look into media.net or infolinks then.

I think no.. Because their cpm rates are too low.. There are better alternatives like infolinks, bingads network and revenue hits.. They have some good cpm and cpc rates..

Some people have success with the chitika and some people are struggling with the chitika earning. So it seems like chitika is good enough for some users. And may not be good for lot of blogs. You have to be really working harder in order to get some content. I personally have learned that blogsites require traffic in order for such traffic to convert. And that's why the things we have to change as well. It may not be easy as well.

Chitika is one of the worst ad networks in terms of revenue, ads management and support. I tried Chitika on one of my niche website. The site attracted 160,743 ad impressions and 497 clicks in 9 months. Do you know how much I earned with these stats? only $7. It was in 2014. I referred 276 active publishers in 2 years and the total referral revenue was $1.25. Lol. The support is absolutely useless. So left it midway. :D

Chitika is not best, but not worst, it pays for us visits and very very low for other countries, that too selected. So this is a simple thing. You should have known this before joining. I too was aware, so did not made chitika account.

From what I learned, chitika only pays for US traffic. You need more US views for your ads to be appearing on your blog. You need 1000 weekly impressions for your blog to generate revenue with chitika.

No actually 60% of the impressions and clicks were from US and Canada.

I said USA only. Canada is still less wanted, and it will count only if they found your site through Google search, and not direct links. You need more from USA in chitika.
I got 52000 US impressions and 220 US clicks my friend. Do you think I should get $7 for it? ;);)

Average Chitika CPM, CPC, PPC Advertising Rates are $0.30 to $0.60, with highest at $3. You might get the low ones. But better to wait for one payout, it is $10 via PayPal.
