Chinese search engine giant Baidu has announced the release of the metaverse product "Xirang" on Dec. 27, which will also hold its first Baidu AI Developer Conference within. The event will include more than 100,000 people interacting with each other simultaneously.


According to the announcement, Xirang is the first domestic meta-universe that will create a large interactive space for thousands of users to function in. According to the company's vice president, metaverses are still in the early stage of development, and projects like Xirang are yet to become mature products.

it's good to see them keying and partaking in metaverse even if they have banned cryptocurrency , metaverse project seems to be the new opportunities available for institutions to maximize ,and for meta community stating to obey all rules shows they are ready for the merge deal ,to spark in more development

Talking virtual independence in the metaverse of a Chinese controlled environment sounds quit strange. We will see if there will be a Chinese and a non domestic version of this. the Chinese government are still going to be controlling things ,even if Baidu concluded in building its own metaverse , because of their Communist system of government ,they would control things ,the virtual independence would not be executed fully ,it's normal to see that they would obey their law

Many people outside China will probably be very sceptical about this because of the law and control of the Chinese communist government over their companies. It is quite very good to see that baidu is touring the adventures of all metaverse do and usage for the Chinese people. Metaverse is probably the new big thing in the cryptocurrency world.
