Seems like they are trying to completely stop and restrict all of the activities related to cryptocurrency or bitcoin in their country be it small or big. This is kinda restricting to chinese citizens I'm curious to what their sentiments are as I think majority of them get majority of their money from cryptocurrency but now they can't do anything related to cryptocurrency because of the ban and crackdown

It actually does make sense that they are going after the smaller people that are mining cryptocurrency because it is considered to be illegal in the entire country and as a result if people are doing it on their home machines then it is legal action that can be taken against them. Furthermore I think that there is a large amount of energy needed and as a result it will be quite easy to determine who is engaged in these sort of activities.

That is true, however there is a good chance that if they are monitoring your internet usage or the energy usage that is coming from the household then they are likely to see a spike in this regard and i think that in this way you will be able to draw attention to yourself in this way.

Well, there is nothing wrong in monitoring as long as you pay for it.
I believe they are people that do cold room business and dry cleaning business,we can imagine the amount of energy they consume.
Moreover you won't be mining consistently to keep you off the radar.

They are really taking a strict stance on this crypto mining thing , despite banning mining companies using big mining rig to mine ,they are also progressing to finally stop it by placing laws against the existence of it been mined at home ,but the thing is that no matter what people would still mine in hideout just to earn ,even if it's to use other method to mine
