The rising tensions between US-China relations and the current Covid-19 pandemic could not hamper the progress of the Chinese tech industry. China's top e-commerce companies like Alibaba and Baidu are highly investing in new blockchain projects. As of June this year, Chinese e-commerce companies have raised around $2.1 billion and fintech firms have raised $39 billion of funding.

Recent news told me about how America is considering to ban Tik Tok and a number of Chinese-based apps. This may leads to even more countries imposing same bans on Chinese apps. Wonder if China ready for this.

China is fully aware of all this bans and planned ban, they will surely improvise means to curb or manage the losses. Does it mean these huge amount earned are meant to build their own blockchain technology.

They don't care about improvisation, all they care about is how to spy people all over the world. Having blockchain tech used by dictactor is not that good for crypto community.

The rate of technological advancement of China is wonderful. The Asian country keep innovating against all odds hence, I not surprised they have recorded that much.

The good side of the pandemic is to prepare each country to be self independent especially with continuous accusations of China in the Corona virus controversies. I ask does it mean that China is trying to build their own blockchain technology?

The pandemic has really had a toll, and based on suspicious belief of the virus originating from China, this has led to quite the "stigmatization" of China and China based products.
Sure I think this should be a medium for other countries also to develop their economy and product quality, because most countries do depends on goods made from China

Globalization is a failure. Countries should each produce their individuals needs of essential products, like medicine, food and raw material. Too dependent on other country is not good at all.

I think depending on other countries for the production of essential product like food , good ,etc do affect the value of the country's currency and employment benefits

Guess they know that most blockchain techs are now really useful due to the pandemic crisis . And that at the end of the pandemic there will be an expected increase in the nunber of people who uses crypto

Even during the pandemic there as been an increase in number, because due to the stay at home order and lockdown people have find means to earn online

Yeah I agree , as most offline businesses or businesses that requires person to person interaction can barely operate now due to the pandemic

Sure some business do use robot for their companies activities and drones to deliver products to the customers who ordered online, due to the pandemic

Most companies are now using teleconference for work since they're force to work from home.

Not really, Amazon has been using drones for some years now. But delivery by humans is still the backbone for Amazon and any other online stores.

But due to the pandemic there will be more of its use , i mean the drones, since no one would want to be infected with the virus .I hope things get better

From what I've heard is that most deliveries are still made by humans and not robots and for company activities most use webinars or online meetings apps

Yes, I also read about that. It is equally true that a banned of Chinese developed apps by the US will trigger similar actions from other countries. The Chinese will however, overcome this. It's a matter of time.

No. Delivery workers are classified as "essential workers" in the US since they're needed to deliver things, so all of them keep working like usual even during this pandemic.
I means those delivery workes will not want to be infected with the virus, but most of online sites are still using workers because not all product can be delivered with drones
