According to bitcoin.com , " The Chinese city of Shenzhen is giving away a total of 10 million yuan ($1.49 million) in the country's central bank digital currency (CBDC) to 50,000 residents in an effort to boost its usage, the South China Morning Post reported Friday" . I believe this free giveaway aim at getting people into using this digital version of Yuan .
What do you think of this move ?

I don't see anything bad in the digital yuan, it is just version of the paper yuan which is more safe from armed robbers and other social vices . it is a good for China.

I think so too. Both still retain the same value and the only difference would be that the digital version will be safer and more convenient for transactions.

IF THE REGULATIONS ARE GOOD ENOUGH SO THAT NORMAL PERSONS DO NOT FEEL BEING RIGGED THEN IT CAN BE ACCEPTED , AND IT SHOULD BECOME A NORMAL ASSET LIKE OTHERS FOR USERS ALONG WITH PRICE STABILITY
Ofcourse the price will be stable because it is different from cryptocurrency that is characterized with fluctuations in the price of it. I think this will make people consider it .

Definitely, it will make the financial activities to be more of cashless which is more safer than paper or fiat currency transaction.

True but onces entire digital assets can be gone forever within a second , when the account is hacked by a scammer unlike with paper money where one needs to sign papers before withdrawal of huge amount of money

China will succeed in this project, I am also happy that with this digital yuan even the traders outside can easily access it and use it to make payment online easily to merchants like Alibaba and others
i was thinking of possible advantages of this and damn you're right it can be easily bought and traded online that's actually pretty cool

Right! That simply points out the fact that despite the brilliance of any innovation, there may be challenges that will make it seem negative.
