The one thing that really made news across all of the cryptocurrency platforms was the fact that china was releasing their own digital fiat currency that they were expecting to be used int eh country. This was major news because it was also the driving factor that resulted in them banning cryptocurrency int eh country as well. However this digital yuan did not prove to be very successful and it seems that china is trying to reignite the digital coin that they have developed, by pressing and trying to make mcdonalds in the country accept it as a form of payment at their fastfood restaurant. What do you think about this development?

It is true that the digital Yuan isn't as popular as it was envisaged. Forcing popular brands in the country to accept it as an alternative to payment is one of the ways to rapidly promote the digital Yuan. It is never a wrong idea forcing the likes of McDonald to accept it as payment for the purchase of their food.

What does "runs like a communist country" mean?
I really don't care which kind of political concept runs a country as long as they respect human rights and individual freedom of both people and foreign borders.
At least I think each society gets the leaders they deserve. Some countries are still on the level of the 17th century where it was OK and still is to kill for gaining power or moving borders. And for some people it might be OK to be beaten and robbed by their, uhm, rulers. Maybe masochism is a wide spread passion and who am I to judge over that?
The pity is that the other countries who don't agree on that mostly look away and pretend that mostly all is well for not risking a minor disturbance in business relation ships. Pretending that they didn't know that it was that worse will put the same blood on their hands as the killing or beating itself.
When it comes to Chinas popularity you should maybe ask the citizens of Hong Kong or Taiwan what they think about Chinas reputation.
I meant a communist state ,like the government want to gain control over everything and it's reflecting, the government want to gain control over the economy and others that was why they banned cryptocurrency in the first place , I hope they get to see the light and benefits attached to cryptocurrency

Well , the Crypto has more than 50% fallen down in a month , so do you really think that they would had allowed Crypto and even if they had any sort of intention this market crash must have finished that for the people that can and also those who were just normal people but but they have also dropped idea of having it , So these facts are key for the Decisions in a Country .

well it's true that crypto have really fallen ,I really wished there could nbe some kind of increase in the price now , expectations are actually high and cryptocurrency is really falling to meet this expectations ,I hope things changes soon and Bitcoin definitely boost , because I would really love to see such kind of thing happen

It shows how the digital yuan has flopped, forced usage of a currencyis not the way the go.It seems that they are also using their cruel centralised type of rule to bully people into accepting it when it should be accepted in freedom not force. They might also threaten companies who are not accepting in such a way that if they don't accept the digital yuan, their business in the country will be limited,or terminated, sort of like an ultimatum

We all know China to be result oriented. They always wanted to achieve the set goals. The case of the digital Yuan is never an exception. It is very obvious that the government will do all it takes to make the CBDC project a success. That's how to achieve results when it seems difficult sometimes.
