The one country that seems to be completely against the use of cryptocurrency and the potential that it has is China, and therefore this has lead to the country implementing a ban across the cryptocurrency world in the country. As a result there were many cryptocurrency companies that were actually forced to move outside of the country as well. In a recent news article that was published, it seems that this is not it though, as China is gearing up to put into place even more cryptocurrency regulations. What sort of regulations do you think will be implemented now? This is coming after an inspect has been planned to look for bitcoin mining facilities.

I know that. Many in Asia, including Sri Lanka have been through this. Now China is spreading its wings across Europe and Africa as well. So not sure how things would proceed.

China will become the next dominant super power. I dont know if I can say they will be better or worse than the US or Russia... but look no super power ever has been good for their satellites...
The European countries did lot of very bad things in their colonies, Russia did enough shit too with their behind the iron curtain countries - like Czech riots. Well USA - where to start? Look at the coup d'états driven by the US in South and Middle America... even the Romanian Empire with the 3rd Punic war and the slaughter of the citizens of Carthage

Looks like you too are a History enthusiast like I !! Anyways a complete discussion on such a topic might be out of favor on this site.
But as a whole, I feel that a lot of things would evolve and there would be no straight forward path for Crypto backers and none would go linearly for the folks against Crypto.
This would apply to the major or minor world powers as well!

China has stopped the crypto rise for a while. China's ban on crypto currency transactions and mining has made a impact on their reputation. Soon the huobi will remove all the mainland users of crypto currency. May be in future china overlook their decision of banning the currency.

well crypto can evolve in good enviroments since there is still strong control on digital transaction. Unfortunately if you use your credit card to send money to an exchange this is digital and there are many options for nations and institutions to limit this kind of transactions. so we enthusiasts (crypto not history ) are relying on a favorable mindset from the legislators.

in my humble idea, China is done with crypto and they will fix this ban from every angel possible. My big fear here is that they are going to pressure other nations to follow their path and stand against crypto.

China is actually crazy and they're doing a lot just to ban crypto in the country, but l have high hopes many countries would not follow their path.
