Who offers the cheapest web hosting?

I'm having this school project and can't afford an expensive web hosting monthly plans. I'm looking for pay couple bucks for a year of web hosting, resources needed are very very low.

If $12 and a free .com domain for 12 months of web hosting is a good deal for you you may visit GoDaddy web hosting plans and choose it. I think it fit your needs!

If you have a domain name you can host on namecheap. The name cheap shared hosting pacakge charges just $9.88 for one year hosting for the first year. You can find domains for 88 cents on Namecheap.

There are so many hosting companies that offer for cheap, Godaddy offers for $12 for a domain with shared hosting package. Namecheap also offers m cost effective prices. You can also buy Webhosting on Black Friday's or new year date.
I had bought using Coupon codes for a year, still you can save some of the money. Never go with cheap hosting companies as they can give problems, downtime causes.

Cheap webhosting is good when you start new sites and you don't expect much traffic, for example if you start blogging.
But if you want to buy traffic I would recommend a VPS, and if you have large traffic like thousands of visitors daily you need a dedicated server.

I started with small priced Webhosts and they seem to be down every month compulsory, give problems in connecting database sometimes. Some hosts offers limited memory so Drupal sites cannot be installed with them.

I tried with some of the hosting companies like Servage, Ipoweb and few more, but they seem to give problems on sometimes.

I had couple Godaddy economy hosting plans over the last years and never had a problem with downtime, but traffic was low, under 1000 UV per day.

I might give a try, but the economy plan comes for one domain anyway have to get one for a client who asked me to develop, design it. The sites were very small that could hit below 100 per day, so I think it is better to use Godaddy. I am currently hosting with Hostdime and they had couple of downtime in the past and present.
Thanks for sharing your experience with Godaddy as I am able to pay them Indian Currency.

I agree with admin. We can expect a good service from a 'cheap' web host company. You can choose your plan depending upon the content of your website. If your website is a kinda blog or something, you can rely on cheap companies but if you have planned a long-term idea for your website, you can go with VPS or Dedicated web servers (most expensive one).

I haven't found a better deal than this, both godaddy and 1&1 have the same campaign, but it's only available to first time users.

I think the cheapest web hosting, aside from dollar a month deals, would involve doing forum posting. However, it seems like this thing is limited to people wanting a VPS. Nonetheless, I think it's a good deal for a VPS - considering the post count per month is never above 50. :)

For a school project, you could use free website hosting. Try 00webhost, it's free and in return they put advertising on your website. To manage your site, you get cpanel and FTP access. My experience is okay and I think they should be alright for your school project.

Asura Hosting might be a very nice choose for you, it's for just only 1$/mo and 12$/yr but if you ordered the yearly plan just enter "2OFF" promo code to get it for just 10$/yr lifetime.
Wow.. thats really cheap. Are they reliable ? Have you tried them out ? Any issues ? Do they have a good support ?

No, I haven't tried them. I like whois websites and IPs so while whoising one of this sites I found that it's hosted by them, I went to check them out and I found them so cheap but I never tried them. Sorry.

Respect also that GoDaddy isn't the only choose, you have to give other hosts a try before talking about them. For example OVH, it's good for web hosting / VPS / Dedicated / Domains, is that mean OVH is the best in the world? Sure not because they also have cons like bad support (NOTICE: I DIDN'T TRIED THEM BUT I HEARD THAT FROM A LOT OF PEOPLE)

I am hosted at Hawkhost. They have monthly price of 2.3$ per month. And they have like 10GB disk space and 100GB bandwidth. I think for my use that budget is suitable. For other people this may or may not work out. And for this reason I'd say better to consider other hosting option.s Avoid hostgator and blue host in that case though. Becuase that is very bad hosting network.
