Europe's largest commercial bank, HSBC's told to a reporter that they are not intending to launch atrading desk for crypto currency as yet. The reason behind this was the high volatility of the crypto market. They also told that they are also not promoting the crypto coins as an asset class for their wealth management system and neither they are recommending to their clients. This is another negative development for the crypto market which is already tumbling down since last couple of weeks.

Well this is their honest opinion and bitcoin is such dependant which is visible now , it reacts with every news like a tempered piece of paper , those who have not interest in bitcoin call it scam as well , reason : you never know how much you could lose in a day even just holding

I don't see this as any negative development except they were once active or aired to be in the process of launching cryptocurrencies. Don't be surprised to see them considering it soonest.

Okay, you were expecting this already. I never knew they are about to launch their own crypto. If this is the scene, then it is obvious that they won't promote other cryptos.

Well, different strokes for different folks. Everyone can't be the be the same. They have stated their reasons and it might just be the situation of things for them

As per Other news sources, they are about to launch their own crypto coin. And if the speculation are true, then surely they will not allow other crypto desk in their lobby. Though I think they can provide some sort of exchange services in near future.

I am kind of hard to believe when banker said this in front of camera or in news. They just said what they have to say to support the company goals and often happen is the opposite of what they have said in front..

Okay then, I know a lot of people prefer launching and using their coin, if they prefer it that way then it might just be how they veiw it that might work for them

I think this could be the right time for people to place interest vividly in cryptocurrency , it got a bright future and they should be able bto see the optimism that crypto currency carries and not people denying if they had made reports or not

The high volatility of the crypto market will always be the downside for everyone,it is even scaring large international banks away. Its a very reasonable reason,so many corporations that invested much in crypto are slowly approaching bankruptcy, some have already become bankrupt and are suffering in silence

the mistakes those companies or banks made is the fact that they invested more than they could afford to lose , I heard the CEO of micro strategy borrowed loan to invest and bought Bitcoin at $30k , imagine the position and rate of their investment at this moment I think

I recently read an article about why MicroStrategy could face bankruptcy due to such kind of market crash. I think many companies thought that Bitcoin would follow the trend of profitability this year as well just like it has proven to be profitable every year. this is why even the government of El Salvador invested quite heavily in Bitcoin and it turns out that they were all wrong.

many didn't expect that Bitcoin would take this kind of turn this year , I guess this is part of what makes Bitcoin unpredictable ,as it's full of suprises , I think elsavador only made the mistake of investing and focusing on bullish , they keep acquiring more ,till they dont have enough to buy more like that

Yet.means they are not completely denying any possibility of that happening in the future. It's not really an easy decision because not everyone support crypto currency yet.. and it wasn't exactly adapted in the country as well.. also it kinda risky with market like this.. we don't know when the bear ends

the bear period is capable of ending anytime soon ,we should just be optimistic that there would still be an increase in price soon ,the crypto currency market is very risky ,a lot of things have been going on for the past few days ,high interest rates ,bad economy have been affecting Bitcoin no doubt

Yea right now he is at risk of a very much possible margin call.Bitcoin is fluctuating around $19k meaning that his portfolio is down by more than 33% as of now which is a lot of capital down the drain.Celsius is another crypto platform at risk of bankruptcy and it is said that their high yield rates of 18% for crypto deposits stand as another possible cause of their nearing bankruptcy

When any company wants to launch its product they say bad things about others that's the thing 90% of the businesses do , but that surely makes you wealth , but an honest person always sets his Standards much higher and he does not take the stress free route and instead he competes so when they are launching their coin , they can deny and can also create negative impact which is common from.such firms actually .

So in this case,is the CEO of HSBC saying bad things about crypto,or he is just telling the reasons why HSBC won't engage in crypto? And many of these reasons he gave,we already know them and many investors are refusing to enter into the crypto space because of them.So its not about downplaying crypto he is being honest
