Repeating the warning issued by the UK Financial Conduct Authority, Central Bank of Ireland Governor Gabriel Makhlouf claimed that those who invest in Bitcoin will lose everything.
Gabriel Makhlouf noted:
------ "As the UK Financial Conduct Authority said a few weeks ago, those who invest in Bitcoin will lose all their money. My opinion is definitely that. '' -------
What do you think of these statements?

I could not understand how she was so sure.... The claim that bitcoin will disappear somehow is interesting, although it doesn't give very clear statements.

It's his opinion. Many people try to fault something they don't understand, or something that goes against what they desire, and Bitcoin is no different.

Putting it simply, BITCOIN is just a startup of the future of how currency is going to be in the future. So for these old fools it's very hard to consume the fact that things are going to be 'digital'.

Many governments are very worried by the bitcoin because they are very confortable with the FIAT money. But If we go to an inflation era, the bitcoin is unavoidable.

He does not state how they will lose there money or what will happen that will trigger the lose. It is a statement that has no evidence or proof, so if he really mean what he said let him provide his reasons.

It would have been more interesting if the Governor has given reasons why he said so but just empty threat won't scare people from investing in bitcoin.

This is a funny thing to say maybe for the newbies but those that have studied the market and knows it better wouldn't say this or is she a critic

May be the Governor didn't know the size of the Crypto currency market and the caliber of people and investors that have put in money in to Crypto currency.

Of course, she only said one opinion but never said anything to support it. I don't know, maybe she can agree with this view, but I absolutely do not agree with her views.

Not every one is a believer of bitcoin , very likely she is one of them. PayPal was once against bitcoin but today the company now support it.

You looked at what was written from a different and broad perspective, great. After all, everyone is free to speak up. Who knows, maybe she can even become a good bitcoin investor in the future. :p

Coming from someone who deals with financial instruments, his statements seem too biased. Anyways, he may have had his reasons but could have done well to share them.
If he was more reserve and systematic in his speech it will be better because if he was he forecast didn't come to reality he will loose value in the financial market.

hahaha All the days I read something like this on the news... And it's always wrong. i listen to this since 2015... And still BTC is a very good crypto!
That's right, my friend, since its inception, bitcoin has had its free enemies because they have seen in this new marketing option a risk to traditional markets.

Who cares, it's just his personal opinion. A lot of people are already getting filthy rich because of bitcoin, not that will convince him or anything. To each their own.

With these statements, it can be analyzed that there are still characters in the governments of certain countries who do not want to see the reality of bitcoin and want to get stuck in their world without recognizing this new financial era. Well that's your opinion.

It is possible that bitcoin investment will not make his personal investment grow because it is very possible that he has invested in gold which is not having much attention now.
