I haven't been able to find any other reviews so I thought I'd make one here.
Celsius.network claims to be a wallet type of thing where you can deposit your coins and earn up to 7% interest a year, with no lock in. Interest is said to be calculated daily and handed out weekly. Their website looks like it had lots of effort put into it and they have an android and iOS app for it too. Has anyone had experience with this website before or does anyone know whether it is legit or not? I don't want to deposit my bitcoins before I am sure that they are legit.

I think Celsius has gone bankrupt? They held off withdrawals then. One of the news that shocked the crypto world this year. They followed the Luna fiasco at that time.

Yes, Luna debacle was the worst shock, which led bankruptcy of many platforms and Celsius was first of them. Alex Mashinsky (CEO) is trying to get support or atleast sell the platform, but there is no buyer.

Yeah. I heard about Alex Mashinsky. I've been following him since Celsius started. He's been very proud then, but I never became a Celsian. He's very active in social media, particularly on Twitter. I'm glad I didn't try Celsius.

Update
Celsius CEO Alex Mashinsky has become supe active since SBF came under investigation for the fall of Luna. After Do Kwon of Luna , and Su, Zhu of 3AC, Alex is also blaming SBF for destroying Celsius.

Yeah I saw he went on a Twitter campaign against FTX & SBF. He's acting as if he's Mr Innocent and not stolen a lot of peoples money.

No matter what he'll do, people trusted him and Celsius. I almost fall for the trap because I used to be a follower of him on Twitter. Glad I didn't invest on Celsius. With SBF, there are so many issues still going out.

Despite being active, Alex did not open his twitter for receiving comments, he knows he will not receive positive ones, but people are quote retweeting against Alex and his wife Krissy.

Yeah. He disabled his comment section. Quoting and retweeting is the way. He cannot get away with it. I heard SBF wanted to start a business to pay for those affected by FTX. I just saw it from a thread on Tip Me a Coffee.b

Alex 's wife Kissy is defending Alex, she is also very active, however, no one is supporting her viev, people are saying Mashinsky couple were involved in this, they withdrew the revenue from Celsius.

Celsius wins right over crypto funds
New York's bankruptcy court judge, Martin Glenn has approved Celsius' rights to the cryptocurrency funds lying with it, now Celsius, instead of investors will exploit the assets.

NYAG Won't let Machinsky Go
Even after the controversial victory, Celsius is not relieved. New York Attorney General Letitia James has filed a new lawsuit against Alex Machinsky for making false promises to investors. The Attorney General has announced she will make Machinsky refund investors' money and bar him from doing business in the state.

Celsius To Enable Withdraw for Eligible users

Celsius has announced to restart the withdrawal, but for eligible users only (and selected crypto); yet, it has not explained how to become an eligible user. The eligible user will also have to do some updating. People are not understanding anything.

NovaWulf's Bid Accepted

Celsius has announced that NovaWulf Digital Management's bid has been approved, so now NovaWulf will be the new owner of Celsius.
This is, however, questionable because NovaWulf is a new company and has bid only 25% of Celsius's bankruptcy value.

Payback plan

The new owner (NOVAWULF) is planning to come up with payback plan. According to which
  1. NovaWulf would invest $50 million.
  2. Creditors of less than $5k will receive 70% of their money back,
  3. Creditors of $5,000 or more will be given the opportunity to become shareholder.

Update

The proposal from Celsius has been approved by the court. According to a recent post by Celsius, the company will continue to work closely with NovaWulf. It appears that NovaWulf hasn't completely taken control of Celsius from Mashinsky yet.
