What could be the reason why a right captcha is rejected? It is a mathematical calculation which even a 5 year old will know.

I am registering somewhere. As is the case with any site they ask you to work on a captcha. I do it correctly and it is rejected.

Captchas "expire". In other words, if you leave the captcha on the page for too long, it will time-out. So even if you put in a perfect captcha, it will reject it and load a new one for you.

This can be an option, also if captcha is hard to read you may face same problems.

@Miya You have a point there but in this case that was not the reason. I contacted their Admin and they asked me to reword it. I did it and it worked but actually it is ridiculous for a captcha to have versions. I struggled and wasted my time until i reworded it.

That has now been sorted out. They totally changed that captcha. I have never seen such a captcha before where we had first to register with keycaptcha create a url and then post it back but even that was not possible. All is well now. I am already writing there.

sometimes the system has a fault even if you type the captcha corectly . make sure to type it correct and in uper case or lower case because some captchas are case sensitive.

Agreed with you. Whether they admit it or not, some captchas are glitchy. Especially when you are doing some faucets, and also on other sites, captchas may not work despite entering the right character.

This is the just the right reason for it.I noticed that when I try to signup for a page and I have already solved the captcha and I leave for a little more time it will show in red captcha expire.So maybe that was the reason.

It happens to me for weeks now on a site,where I m active.I have to solve many captchas till accepts it as being correct.It takes up about 5 minutes till I can solve the captchas and I can enter the site.I cannot really understand how the site's owner doesn't make some changes about,because on other sites I have seen other types of captchas ,which once solved correctly are accepted immediately.

Most of fhe site that offers captchas are facing error while you type the captcha correctly the site automatically prompt error. thats the most problem . recaptcha will work but not all the time. believe me captchas do error sometimes not oftenly .
