I just open a business offline but I dont know if it is a good option to allow someone from my house hold to manage the business or hire a paid servant to manage the business, consider that the money I use to start the business was collected as loans from micro finance bank so I need to think twice because I will repay the loans soon.

A business set up with loan at startup, shouldn't it be managed by you? However, if you are unable to do so, consider someone you trust wholeheartedly (if there is) be it a family member or helper.

That's a good thing to do especially when you are starting a new business.Finding a manager has always been a difficult thing but the situation you are in from borrowing a loan, your household member is the best one.He/she understands the source of your capital and will do anything possible to ensure you business succeed. So long has he has some experience in it will be an added advantage because of the trust you have to the family member.I think also spending money to pay huge to this managers who maybe they only want to earn salary isn't a good thing .You rather call them just for advise and pay them something small than full-time hire.

A household member can be a good option to manage your business if he/she is responsible and will run the business well. But in cases where you feel/think the household member may not manage the business well, it is best to hire a manager. Some family members when given the chance to run your business may ruin it and take advantage of it. So it is best to think twice before deciding who will run your business.

A household member can be allowed to handle my business. Most successful businesses are now oversees by household members and this is a good option because as a member of the inner cycle, he or she knows the consequences of failing on his own part.

The person to manage your business should be determine from your assessment, it possible someone from your home manage this business if the person has most of the qualities you need from managing your business to break even.

I have been in some other forum since morning and I was wathcing your thread in new tab from my pc but I couldent contribute then but am here to respond to your post, precisely this is too risky that person will sink your business except you have studied and know his character if the money was on loan then its better to get an outside help that you can handle

There is wrong using a family member as your business manager. The most important thing is that he or she must be business oriented. Moreso, the set goals must be clearly stated.

Hi there,
I personally think you need to consider someone's skills before appointing him/her to do your business, even if it's your family. Since it's quite adding more risk as the starting budget was from loan, you must be careful. You cannot leave the business alone with him/her even if it's a professional hire, you must monitor and set the goals. Good luck.

Determining who should manage your business is solely based on trust and a good knowledge of the business. I think since you don't have anyone outside your household, it's wise to get someone in your household that is willing to manage the business. You will then give the person guide on how to go about the business. You should also work with the person for a time first so that you can establish the trust in that person.

I think the best option to this your problem is considering your house hold member managing the business. This is because the person will really understand how you suffered before starting the business and the person will at least manage the business in the best way if he or she really have the skills. Employing your house member will also save some money for payment of the loan.

I would reject that idea of using a family member as your manager. Never replace professionalism with any other thing else in business. Go for someone who is accountable and trustworthy.
Yes that is what I think as well its foing to be very difficult before you take a positive action on your family member if your fund get missing in your business,so its better you use somebody from outside that you can decipline if such things happen

That is great I have no option than to say that you should not make such attempt its the best you get that same service from someone outside just hire a maid and you can pay him while he is working with you.

That's true. Family relatives won't take your business serious or they'll channel your funds to their own personal venture. They'll tell you stories of missing funds when it's time for renumeration.
Its looks sonehow if you allow someone from your hold to manage your business for you what if you dont have access to someone in your hold and opportunity come you need to look at someone from outside that can manage the business for you and bring the lasting solution.

it's better to go with household, because they can be trust and no need to pay them as well, teach them how it works and let the business go

That is true, someone who is responsible as a family member then it can work.Since you probablybkmow thevqualities they posses it will work in your favourvplus they want bevpaig a high wage or wages as a start of business until you run for some months or so.

i think when you cant operate it by yourself, it is okay to ask someone to help as long you can trust him and he has soem skill to manage it. if no, you gonna down

To me the answer is no. The reason is that I will not be able to scold him or her the way I will scold a stranger. And the person will take the business for gurranted.

It will be advisable to manage the business at the initial stage by yourself. It will help you to have better knowledge about the business even if you want to employ someone to manage it later on.
The only member of my household that I can employ in my business is my wife but that won't be at the beginning stage.

it all depends whether that person has the skill necessary to run that business for me. I can't rely on unskill fela even if it's a family member
He might have the skills but the problem is that sometime that person may consider that he know you better and might run away with your money, that is why I dont consider employing close person to work for me its better you hire someone that you never know.
