Blockchain is a terrific technology that is now being used well outside of the bounds of cryptocurrency and is extending to the consideration of inter country trade deals and even with companies to secure their information as well. email has been around for over 50 years and is a great and formal way to communicate especially for businesses. Do you think that blockchain technology can be used as a means to secure email and ensure that all of the content is kept safe at all time with minimal hacking?

It can be used ,blockchain doesnt have only one importance but vast importance ranging from tracking and others,so it can be used for that reason

There is a crypto approach that exist since decades. Encryption of email is possible but not widely used. Same to signing emails where you can proof content and authorship of mails.

both techniques do not relay on distributed blockchains and are faster than any bc tech could be, because this are just keys or fingerprints attached to a mail. Blockchain based tech on the other hand needs to wait until it's processed/approved in a block. It takes time and costs money. How are chances for a technology that is slower and will cost more to transfer a message?
