Is not a secret, having high PR backlinks pointing to our websites result of good rankings in SERPs.

Let's say tomorrow I'm going to create a new website and I'm gonna buy as many high PR backlinks as needed to bring my site on Google's first page, result a lot of traffic and a lot of money to be made.

Buying backlinks is bad for SEO?

You break Google terms, when they notice you bought backlinks they will penalize your site and ADIOS! NO MORE TRAFFIC! :D

But people still buy backlinks, it's the fastest way to rank these days and if your site gets penalized you have to start over.

I didn't know that if Google finds out that you have purchased backlinks, google would punish your website? Is it easy for Google, and bing and the other big search engines to find out that you are buying backlinks? I always thought buying backlinks was safe, but obviously not. Thank you in advance.

It's pretty easy for them to penalize your site when you buy backlinks because most backlinks providers have PBN - Private Blog Networks, these are like link farms.

I think the whole don't buy links is overhyped. I know many big business who buy links through content marketing. And some big business buy social media reputation through link works. So it depends on how and who is doinng that. Google can knock people out of search but social media > search. So SEO is not always going to be in your favor in that case.

you don't even created website, still need articles , logo ,plugins , social medias , then you can add it to google and after making over then 10 articles targgeting long tail keywords then you can start build backinks one by one and shouls all direct to main page ...

Well, I prefer the process of natural backlinking. Especially when it's done by the members of my forum as they scroll through other forums online. To be clear, I was aware that buying backlinks presents a high risk of having to start back at square one again. Because of this, it's never tempted me to buy them, even for a test site.

I don't think that buying links is necessarily bad for SEO, I mean not if you buy the right links. If you buy them from sources like Fiverr, from link farms or from sites with a low reputation, then yeah, it's bad.

But on the other hand, if you buy clean links (they are more expensive, usually), you should be safe if you don't abuse of them.

I think these days people are buying backlinks a different way. You can see that people are going into the guest posting mode. And they are also using this for building it as a portfolio. So it's possible that people may get backlinks this way. You may not be able to find it much usable. but from what I have noticed it's possible that the backlinks may get removed or not credited. so in terms of SEO it depends on how much weight each link has.

What scares me is the fact that, for example, google claims to always "improve" their evaluation algorithms.

I've gathered that it's how one manipulates within the allowed portion of the rules, rather than exploiting them, if we're talking about long-term strategies. Short-lived strategies seem to exploit the obvious loopholes which google in other hand seems to actively improve on every year. I think the history of it makes it pretty clear.

Well, Google just wants to make SEO more expensive than Adwords. Of course that adding high quality links will improve rankings, but quality links, especially in the lucrative fields such as travel, fashion, medicine and so on, are expensive. So, if they make Adwords cheaper than SEO campaigns, why would anyone invest in SEO after all (for example, the shop owners)?

I think a blanket statement that buying backlinks is bad for SEO works. Google for example had developed some extremely complicated and indepth algorithms over the years in an attempt to both combat spam and deliver the best possible service to their users (searchers). There are so many more factors that I would go as far to say that google bots look at each and every site on a case by case basis.

What you got to take into account is that its easy for them to see over time when links were acquired. Therefore if you suddenly have a ton of links in a short period its going to raise a flag. If the links are low quality then again more flags raised. If people are ten clicking away from your site i.e. bounce rate is high and not what they are searching for then boom the algorithm will kick in and drop you down the list cause its not what googles customers (i.e searches) are looking for.

Ok so that is simplified but didnt want to turn this post into war and peace.

I believe we can get away with any illegal thing until we get caught,I don't think buying backlinks in itself is bad though wrong but it like risking our site because if Google finds out ,it might a bit bad.Buy if you need to but don't get caught.

Yes,it is.As I have read you can buy thousansd of backlincks, which have not so great value.Higher value can add to your website one quality backlink from an authority website, than thousands of backlinks from low quality websites.

Mr. B, what do you think of buying backlinks, in the version of a guest post. Let's say I buy a guest post gig on fiverr. That post has a backlink, will google discover it's been bought or not?

Avoid Fiverr SEO services, most of the times they transform the blogs in link farms and these are penalized by Google once reported or detected by their own spam filters.

It's depend how much you spent on backlinks. Cheap backlinks give you nothing. If someone want to sell you 300 for 1$ it's trash, but if you buy article with your backlink it's ok, but you will need to spend a lof of cash:)

Well, we all know that the off page seo is the main factor that causes the ranking of articles or websites on google search Engine and it is mainly done through backlinks. So, is it safe to buy backlinks from seoclerks? They offer a promising and cheap backlinks but i am scared that whether they would degrade my website or not. If you have tested it please share your review with me

First of all you should know that "Backlink" is just a small part from what google do to define the Quality/Trusted websites , Its good but you can not rely on that , but you should take care of the other SEO things too , I mean dont expect a big results just from Backlinks .

And from Google Quality Guide , you can see its Illegal to trade Backlinks , So try no to spam backlinks for your website , especially if you have already a well ranking in the Search engine .
