There are many businesses that have a variety of payment options, with the most popular ones of course being the credit card or the PayPal payments, which are increasingly popular as well due to the PayPal guarantee that it provides to the customers. Do you think that inputting your credit card information for payment on a website is a safe thing to do, and would it not be better if all data was routed though a single secure server that ensures that the details are kept safe and confidential. A kind of blockchain for the credit card payment portal. What are your thoughts on that?

There are ways to verify if a site is safe enough for you to input your card details. The idea of a single server no matter how secured is quite risky, I think. If anything goes wrong, could you imagine the millions of card details that would be compromised?

This is an excellent point and one that I have not considered previously. In cases that deals with financial systems perhaps multiple servers that are operated by the same company could be of benefit. In this way if there is a compromising situation only one of the servers will be compromised. However I do understand the concern that you have raised you and it is a very valid one that does poke a huge hole into the idea that I have presented.

You can link your bank details with site but it but be the legit and trustworthy site. You need to make a proper research and investigation on the kind of site you want to link your bank with.

The concern with such things however, comes in with even if it is a legit site, the site could have a security breach and this will put your details at large if hackers get a hold of this.

PayPal is a good option but it has it's flaws . PayPal can easily restrict your account and it is not available in some countries. Credit card is good but can be costly for some people due to fees. Crypto won't be bad

When Paypal required me to enter my credit card number for verification it took me days before I relented. I am afraid that my credit card can be misused. With a website that is not government-registered that would be scary to me much more of my bank account details.

A credit card is a good idea, however for some people and myself included, i do not like to share details of my card online as i feel that this can lead to a security concern. Instead i would rather prefer crypto as then i do not have to share any personal information.

Paypal is not a popular payment option in my country because my country is on the list of restricted countries for paypal so we mostly make use of bank cards which are relatively safe.

Any country where PayPal is operating , PayPal must have gotten permission from the financial institution of the bank .

I think the watchword here is secured. It is only a safe and secured site that one can be sure of the card details. One needs to be very careful and only when leaving bank details on a site because it can be very risky

2 in our country it is accepted to only use PayPal for receiving payments. But I personally do not like paypal at all due to strict rules and regulations. Skrill is a much better option.

Does paypal really need banks permission before operating? If anything, agreement with the government or the top of the financial institution should be enough.

Yes paypal need your bank account permission in order to validate. Its the most annoying thing because you cannot hold money in your PayPal account until you attach your bank account. Sometimes it may take more than one week or ten days for your account to get confirmed.

Given that information, there are a lot of banks in my country, it would be stressful to start to convince each bank but instead the apex bank can be consulted

Not a bad idea though but it could still be hacked if proper security measures are not kept in place. The thing is that no matter how legit or secure a site might be, there always the risk of information being leaked or hacked. You simply just have to be careful in most cases.

That is the case with any of the websites that we do actually make use of now because there is never such a thing as compelte security if you are looking at online means. This is i think one of the draw backs that online business and even crytpocurrency has at this point in time.

Business payment options is highly dependent on one's geographical setting. In my setting, PayPal and even cryptocurrencies are restricted so that leaves us with little or tedious options of; bank wire transfer which the charges would always almost wipe out the whole income. I prefer Payooner, Binance pay or Litecoin for payment options in any business.

There is a major concern when it comes to the cryptocurrency payments within a lot of countries because they have not actually recognised cryptocurrency as a proper financial system and therefore they are not using it as a form of payment and I think that this is one of the main reasons that cryptocurrency growth recently has not been as large,

There are lots of business gigs that I have fall short because of their payment options, I am not really comfortable in releasing my card details to the public even if their secured.
I have heard scenario were hackers attacked a company data base and had access to their files.
I mostly prefer cryptocurrency.
