Teresa Jackson an old retired teacher lost her life savings of €120k in a bitcoin scam advertised in instagram, as per the sources the scammer act as a financial adviser and told the lady to give her money and he will stack them as btc. But after she sent her money he blocked and her and went with all money.

Guys stay away from these stupid scammers and always trade with popular and reputed sites.

This is why I do my thing independently. I can't just trust scammers parading as legit agents they are there to just get your money and off they go. It can really be appalling

This is a sad news couple with the fact that the victim is a retired person. This type of case makes government to be right whenever they conclude that crypto can easily be used to perpetuate crimes. I know the culprit cannot go scot free it is to be banking transaction. I just need to advice us to be careful while dealing with stranger in cryptocurrency transaction.

It really shows that less public enlightenment have been done towards Bitcoin scam ,I really wish more people are more enlightened about cryptocurrency scam so that they would take the necessary precautions when particularly doing deals
I have actually lost counts of many cryptocurrency scam that have happened and it keeps increasing more

That's a very pathetic story but on the other hand I find it very hard to believe that someone could transfer all her life savings to a total stranger. It is very important to be security conscious and I see no reason why I will invest all my money on a speculative market like the bitcoins. I always advise you to trade with 2% of your account on online business.
People have done that several times most especially probably because of greed and others ,they believe that the investment platform is really real ,so they actually don't mind transferring everything to the stranger just to get more profit , probably the war the stranger have persuade him or her to invest the money

I don't want to blame the lady because I wonder how someone you have not met will compel you to stake such amount, she would have been bubbled when she heard the profit that she choose to keep such information to her self.
Some people are heartless though,120,000 dollars is no joke.

I'm sorry for the third aged. Hoping the scammer could be arrested. It's a shame to lure old people, usually one of the most vulnerable groups of people, as they can't manage technology stuff as youngsters and lot of times they have no idea to how recognize scammers (or how to get rid of them).

Jeez, wonder when will I stop hearing or reading news about how online criminals using crypto to scam people. But then, people are getting scammed every day, be it through crypto or not. Maybe it's time to include a course in school about how to detect scam and how to avoid getting scammed. Still, people be people, I guess.

Thats the disadvantage of the modern technology. The oldies have not completely understood the way , crypto mining or trading works. Blindly believing in some scammer's words shows inexperience and lack of awareness about the online technology. I have had an old friend who lost huge amount in a similar fashion.

This can happen again and again if you are not careful and smart enough to take action.

Now there is a new trend to scam people on Telegram. When you join a group on Telegram, automatically your user id is revealed to the group. People check out your profile and try to make friends with you and smartly they will reveal their investment opportunity. They are mostly crypto hyip investors or brokers.

Beware!!! even by clicking a website link which is a scam can also harm your computer and the spammers may have access to your data. All I do is I just block that person immediately on Telegram and report them to the authorities concerned.

I think you are right most of the old generation are not too learned about the current technology and how the scammers now carry out their scams ,they need to be enlightened and updated about it ,so they are not been scammed because the level and rate of scan is increasing

Yeah , most of the things we think as a legit , turn out to be only an another scam. They have found new ways to scam people , it's even very hard detect any scam for some experienced investors as well. Cryptocurrency is the possible reason why the extent if scamming has been increased.

ITS really hard to detect scam , I think most of the old generation still believe that cryptocurrency is scam , despite the innovation taking place ,they actually don't want to trust the viability of the platform , they only believe when they are tricked by scammers showing them different things to convince them to invest

I just read the news and it is an old news. She was scammed because the scammer made her visit a website that looked like a professional platform. No matter how well-built a website might look, never trust any website that demands money or invest what you could afford to lose without any problems.

HMm That's why am always scared of visiting any website like that , because most of those website are scam ,they would offer insane reward and make the person invest ,then later on he is scammed ,that's why I am always trying to be more careful investing in them because I also don't want to get scammed by those fake sites
