Few days ago, a federal court from Espirito Santi, Brazil, ordered the sale of a sized crypto stash. This trade was conducted by the largest local exchange and had a trade volume from $1.1m US Dollars. The stash is a part of a $30 seizure, which related to he "Madoff" police operation to destroy Tradergroup that ran an $300m Ponzi scheme in 2091 in Brazil. Do you think the sale of sized crypto is the right way compensate to tricked "customers"?

No.. it should be given back to the scammed costumers and now they get nothing. But the government should have tried to give it back to the victims even in the form of.dollar

This was my exact thought on a different thread. I'm sure they did the sized so that they can benefit from it. They resl owners might not even be remembered

That's for sure.. too bad for them but the authorities can easily make excuses like.. they can't verify or track the real owners. Nothing can be done if they don't want

You know the game they will come up with very annoying thoughts on why they cannot release the coins to the perceived owners which is very appalling

In 2091? Anyway, it's a common tactic that is used by the police all over the world. If they did distribute the money from the sale to the victims, then all is good.

I don't think it should be sold and those people who were scammed by the exchange platform might also be compensated by the platform
